Great staff, but a disappointing response to a serious incident
The hotel staff were generally kind. A special thank you to Esmaeel, who was always friendly, professional, and genuinely made our stay more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, we had a very upsetting experience at the Kids Club. My children were only there once, and they stayed for no more than 45 minutes. During that short time, the children were playing roughly, but the staff did not intervene or inform us that the situation had become unsafe. As a result, another child accidentally poked my son’s eye, causing a corneal injury.
What disappointed us most was the hotel’s response afterward. We had to cover all the costs ourselves, including transportation to the hospital and the medical expenses, my son was unable to swim for the rest of our stay, and no compensation or even a simple follow-up to check on him was offered. We were only told that the Kids Club staff were not responsible for watching each child individually.
A simple warning that the play had become unsafe would have allowed us to take our son out before the accident happened. This experience was very disappointing and left a negative impression despite the kindness of staff like Esmaeel.
Nice Time @ Splash Beach Resort
We spent 10 nights here in July 2026. This is a new ACCOR group resort, and we booked our stay using the ACCOR app. There were a few inconsistencies from our stays in other ACCOR hotels, but with time, I am sure they will work this out. The price we paid was fair and a good value.
The water park was closed for renovations, which was a surprise to us. Still, we had a nice time here, and I imagine when the water park is open it is even more fun.
We were upgraded to a larger room with a living room. That was definitely a treat. Thank you to Splash Beach Resort for the room upgrade!
Shout-outs especially to > YAH - FON - YAYEE - DAW; they were terrific and really made breakfast special. Thank you!
Breakfast buffet was nice, and the restaurant staff were all TERRIFIC; everyone was professional and so very nice.
Housekeeping was great!
We would absolutely visit Splash Resort again. It's a nice spot for a relaxing vacation.
