A Perfect Quiet Getaway in Phuket
We stayed at Meliá Phuket Mai Khao during both the first and last week of our trip to Phuket, and we loved everything about this place. It’s the perfect choice if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet. We stayed in two different room types, and both were truly special. The staff and service were exceptional, and the hotel is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from the airport. We will definitely be coming back in the future

Amazing Experience
Amazing resort with a variery of experiences you can get. The environment is absolutely breathing. The stuff was super helpful and nice. Especially Nam, on the reception went out of her way to help me contact a local hospital.

I need to start this review off with a special shoutout to the Melia staff and Dining team: Aey, Nong, Nam, Yean, Mr. Banana, Audy, Tuk Tuk, Cas, and the GAIA/SASA Chefs.
It is important to note that these amazing individuals created a PERFECT and welcoming environment for our first trip to Phuket, Thailand. A home away from home! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with enthusiasm and gratitude, even though we checked in later in the evening. During our stay, we never felt anything but welcome. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the rooms were always up to the highest cleanliness standards. Every time we walked past a staff member, they made it a point to greet us with a smile and friendly conversation.
This was a birthday vacation, and without any prior notice, they decorated our room and prepared a special dinner for my birthday. It is a complete rarity these days to receive TOP NOTCH hospitality.
We had the all-inclusive package, and it truly was all-inclusive. Audy, Mr. Muay Thai himself, gave us an in-depth and intimate beginner's lesson in Muay Thai. The patience he showed and the excitement he shared with us was inspiring and genuinely appreciated.
Aey, we simply love you and your team for making each meal feel special. Never have I genuinely looked forward to every meal at a resort, and that speaks volumes.
To the masseuses at the YHI Spa on-site at Melia, THANK YOU. You incredible folks rubbed away all of my pain and inflammation. What more could I ask for?
Ending the trip was bittersweet, but they made us feel like royalty on our way out. From start to finish, it was damn near perfection!
It is also important to note that even the security staff welcomed you with a friendly smile and great conversation. If you are looking for your home away from home, look no further—Melia is the place to be!
Aey + team, please accept our greatest gratitude. We wish promotions for each and every one of you! It's without a doubt that we will be back.
Note: Melia is pretty far from the festivities and the other islands, but nothing a 45-minute ride can't fix. Please do not let the distance deter you from an unforgettable experience.
Night away with just the wife
My wife and I stayed at the media resort in Mai Khao Phuket for one night, The team here were incredibly warm and welcoming, The rooms are incredibly well equipped with full amenity, We love the quiet and peaceful nature of the resort it was like we were the only ones in the whole resort, The restaurants in the resort were also very good with great menus with lots of variety and lots of options for kids also, It will definitely be on our list when we plan to our next holiday with our children as they have beach access private pools and lots of activities for the family, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the GM Nishant. Khun Tom and Luc who all greeted us on checking in and made us feel incredibly welcome
