disappointing stay
I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent (February 2026) stay at this property. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.
While the villa was spacious, it showed significant signs of wear and tear and was not well-maintained. Specific issues included a dirty pool and broken tiles in the bathroom.
Additionally, the dining options fell short of expectations:
- The Chinese Restaurant: Service was poor, and the staff struggled to remember our order.
- Breakfast: The selection was limited almost entirely to Asian/Chinese options, with basic continental breakfast items unavailable.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the prompt and effective room service.
Given the high price point, the current level of quality, cleanliness, and service is not acceptable, especially compared to other luxury properties in Phuket. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to make necessary improvements.

Proposal experience - world class!
I chose Sri Panwa to propose to my girlfriend and I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and responsiveness of the Sri Panwa events team. I wanted to book the Tu Bar rounded platforms in particular to propose and Chris Phitaksin and his team were tremendously helpful in making the necessary arrangements to bring my vision to life.
I had many questions about private activities at the resort and Chris and the events team were highly responsive and genuinely interested in making my experience an excellent one. I must admit, I sent them a lot of emails to ensure that my proposal went as smoothly as possible, and they responded to every single one in good time. I was thoroughly impressed with their world class service and can personally attest to this resort being one of the best in the world. A big big thank you to the team at Sri Panwa - I would 100% plan another event (like a wedding) here!

Splendid Wedding at Sri Panwa ~
We booked Sri Panwa for August 2026 for a wedding ceremony as a wedding package (THB 148,800++/$4,500). Sri Panwa offered multiple of options, but we chose to spend a minimum of (THB 450,000/$13500).
From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome drink while waiting for our villa to be ready.
A special thank you to Annie, the Sri Panwa wedding assistant, who made our wedding experience so special. She is incredibly kind, detail-oriented, and open to ideas. We had a last-minute issue come up, and Annie immediately helped us resolve it. Annie is truly exceptional at what she does, and she deserves all the recognition for the care, dedication, and effort she puts into her work. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for everything she did to make our special day so memorable.
Our villa, LV17, was absolutely enormous and beautiful. It had a spacious living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, along with a terrace, outdoor shower, jacuzzi, and private pool.
The ocean views were breathtaking from every room, especially during sunrise and sunset. Waking up and ending the day with those views was one of the highlights of our stay.
Sri Panwa offers a great variety of food, including sushi, Italian pasta, pizza, grilled beef, and other international options. Baba Soul Café was also a nice place to enjoy coffee and tea for a simple breakfast.
We appreciated that each section of the resort had a reception area where we could ask questions or request assistance. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming.
Our wedding package included a one-hour couples massage, which Annie arranged for us. We chose the Baba Specialty Massage, a head-to-toe treatment using a mango sticky rice scrub for our feet and our choice of body oil.
The massage was very relaxing, with a comfortable amount of pressure. To finish the experience, we enjoyed a jacuzzi filled with flower petals, which was such a nice touch.
The scenery at Tu Bar, Baba Nest, and Baba Poolclub was extraordinary. Coming from an urban area in the States, we rarely get to see mountains and such clear water, so we were completely mesmerized by the views. Every location was beautiful and definitely photo-worthy. It felt like we were living in a postcard throughout our stay.
Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sri Panwa and had a wonderful experience. To make an already beautiful stay even better for future guests, we would suggest considering improvements to two areas: the lighting and the toilet facilities in the villas.

Our wedding experience at Sri Panwa was truly unforgettable, and we would happily recommend this resort to couples looking for a beautiful and memorable destination wedding.
Come for the amazing views but villas are little dated.
Overall a good choice in Phuket. Stayed in a 2 bed lux ocean view villa for 4 nights and on the positives it’s a good size with a large pool and some of the most amazing views in phuket. The resort is peaceful and private and although its quite hilly the tuktuks are easily available to get you around. There is a wide choice of food and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Baba nest is worth a sunset visit. Beach is small but nice enough.
Some of the areas in need of improvement are that the villas are not luxury by luxury standards. Furnishing is quite old, bathrooms are dark and dingy and it needs a renovation. Staff are helpful but poorly trained with no management visible in 5 days and its evident. Checked in and out by a trainee isnt what you expect for 30k baht a night - forgot the refreshing towels, and you should not need to ask for a copy of the bill. Food is varied but average quality and service was mixed with some wrong orders, and food was generally far too salty.

Beautiful property
Stayed in one of the pool villas. Amazingly beautiful and serene. Getting around via cart escort was not only comfortable but convenient. The private beach was small but secluded and private. One of the best properties I've been to in Thailand. Staff was all very kind and professional. Will definitely go back.
