A Dream Wedding & Unforgettable Stay in Paradise
I feel incredibly lucky to have had my wedding at Sri Panwa Phuket Luxury Pool Villa Hotel — truly one of the most luxurious and special places in Phuket.
Since this was an overseas wedding and I didn’t hire an external planner, I relied heavily on the hotel’s wedding team — and they exceeded every expectation. From my very first enquiry, to our initial online meetings, the site visit 7 months before the wedding, final preparations, rehearsal day, and the actual wedding day, the support was just amazing throughout.
A very special thank you to our on-site wedding planner, Annie. She was professional, caring, incredibly detail-oriented, and so well-organised. She really made my dream wedding come true. She was also super flexible — even with some last-minute requests (and I had quite a few!), she always did her best to accommodate everything. You could genuinely feel how much she cared.
All of our guests and family were so impressed by the service. Every single staff member was attentive, friendly, and always aiming to provide exceptional service. Yes, the price is on the higher side compared to a typical holiday in Thailand, but for us, it was absolutely worth every penny. Occasionally, a few newer staff might miss small details, but their passion and sincerity more than make up for it.
From the tuk tuk drivers, to restaurant staff, to housekeeping — we felt so well taken care of every single moment.
We stayed for 4 nights in total — 3 nights in a one-bedroom villa and 1 night in the Yaya Pool Suite. Honestly, it felt too short to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer! There’s so much to explore: the public pool, spa, private beach, and a variety of restaurants. We also enjoyed our best spa in our life here!
The location is a bit far from the city centre, but that’s exactly what gives it such privacy and those breathtaking views. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the authentic Thai options (which we loved), and it was great to also have Japanese and Chinese choices available.
If you’re looking for something unique and different from the usual hotel chains, this is definitely the place. We would absolutely love to come back for our anniversary one day — I’m sure it will bring back all the beautiful memories, along with the same outstanding service.
Best place to stay in Phuket!
We originally visited Sri Panwa in 2017 and was in awe of its beauty, impeccable service, delicious food, convenience, and amazing location. We were super impressed and so sad to leave. Fast forward to 2026 - we renewed our vows for our 10 year wedding anniversary and brought 20 of our friends and family with us. They made the process so easy and to say that everyone enjoyed was an understatement. Returning 9 years later, Sri Panwa was even better with upgraded spaces but with the same amazing service. I cannot thank them enough for the unforgettable memories and look forward to our next trip there ♥️
I was not satisfied with this hotel
Unfortunately, this hotel fell short of expectations on my recent visit.
First, of all, the arrival process was quite confusing. We arrived with an uber, and the security staff at the gate gave wrong directions to the driver. Also, when finally arriving at the reception area, no one greeted us or helped with the luggage.
The check-in was a bit slow, but it was okay.
The room was spacious, and I liked the fact that it had a private pool. The hotel advertised that minibar would be included, however the “minibar” was only two bottled drinks, and some kitkats, and chips. I would not call this a minibar.
The breakfast was decent.
Unfortunately, other F&B outlets were horrible. I ordered fried chicken, which turned out to be chicken wings. When it arrived it was completely dry, and did not even look good (see attached picture). The staff did not seem to be apologetic about it. After some time a manager arrived who apologized for the issue.
The location of the hotel is quite far from the centre of Phuket, and the problem is that taxis/ubers are not always available.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and my stay was not the best this time.

The best luxury pool villa in Phuket
My first time in Phuket and also my first stay at Sri Panwa — everything about this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was incredibly kind and provided excellent service throughout our stay.
Special thanks to Khun Tan (Trainee), who handled both our check-in and check-out so professionally. He was truly outstanding!
The bed was super comfortable, and all the room amenities felt brand new and luxurious. The pools are huge, and there are so many activities to enjoy within the hotel.
The bar and café feature a beautiful rooftop with stunning panoramic views. We also had dinner at the Thai restaurant “Baba Soul Food”, and both the food and service were excellent.
Such a memorable experience — definitely one of the best stays in Phuket!
