My wife & myself stayed here for the first 5 nights of our honeymoon / annual holiday before travelling north to out next destination. Upon arrival the hotel has great 'curb appeal ' , looks great . This continues on into the lobby & reception areas & guestbar , great views over the beach & the cape that the hotel sits in . Staff as you would expect in Thailand are truly lovely people , helpful & always super polite , anyone that complains about the staff or writes otherwise quite frankly probably has issues themselves lol . So , the room , nice size , clean & great views over the sea & the pool . Bit of a walk , but for that we had a very quite & peaceful room , not disturbed by other guests or staff going about their day to day work . Admittedly we are here in the off season , but everything was as it should be . We were on a bed & breakfast basis & the breakfast buffet in my honest opinion as someone that travels all over the world from luxury to war zones for work the buffet was one of the best I have ever had . So the not so great bits , in my eyes there are only 2 points , & I'm pointing these out as someone whom had worked as a hotel maintenance manager/ electrician in the last few years so I take a different point of view about hotels & their appearance . The first one is the room , it is a little tired , attention to detail is such a big thing in the hotel industry, guests WILL not comment on positive stuff , but tear you apart for the most minor issues , so our room , of which none of these distracted us from our stay , light bulbs out / bed replacing , really need the floors given a good clean , that's it . My biggest by far gripe is ( & the hotel has no control over this as it's a beach with natural tide ) it's advertised as having a private beach which it does , it's in a stunning location , but someone needs to take ownership & go out every morning & clean up / litter pick all the rubbish , plastic , junk that washes up , it truly was disgusting & really let's the hotel down for something as simple as 1/2 staff 15 min every morning doing a litter pick / tidy up . To put it in comparison we have been driving around Phuket the last 5 days & have been on the most stunning clean beaches where there are no staff to tidy them . Something as simple as this could really elevate this hotel to another level .
Room : Not bad. Great View especially in the early morning.
Facilities: Great for family. Theres big pool, mini football goal post, volleyball net & on-site canoeing.
Location & advise: Alot of great food and saloon/pedicure/massage further up the road. Especially Halal food, theres plenty of restaurant near Phuket Aquarium as that area are mostly Muslim Village. We try afew roadside stall in the morning and it was delicious. Recommend to rent a bike/car. Grab also quite easy to get as per my experience
The hotel I booked through Booking.com was closed upon arrival, leaving my family and I stranded with no explanation.
This forced us to find alternative accommodation late at night, causing significant inconvenience and distress.
I believe this hotel may be fraudulent, and I'm concerned that Booking.com allowed reservations and payments for such establishments.
I demand a full refund for my stay which is more than 1400$.
Extremely bad.
Also Booking.com customer service till this moment (after 5 nights) doesn't provide explanation of this closure of Resturant nor my refund
It was all going good, until checking out that's when the Cobra came out to sting, they mentioned once we hand in key the room service goes to check the room out we not allowed to go back to room Found that very strange not experienced that before at any other hotels After checking the front desk tells us you used the Mini bar and charging 240bt when I have not used the minibar nor was there a stock list what should be in the minibar I asked what have I used he won't tell me, I would have been happy to go and buy the item and replace it for their satisfaction and tells us one pair of used saddles missing which are worth less than 50p or 20bt and charged 500bt £12.50 for a shoddy sandles which we feel may have left by pool or beach? He says tell us where on the beach we will get staff to check the beach. Not come across a hotel so petty and nit picking. For something that's worth £1 or 40bt they charged £18.50 or 740bt We had little local money left for staff tips which he robbed us of that too. Didn't take his name Upon leaving no one asked how was your stay or a bye! Certainly left a sour taste to what would have been a great review.
Old tried outdated resort. No attend to detail. Strong odor entering open lobby when raining. Surrounding area of resort terribly neglected could view from hotel room and while walking along the paths. Spa very nice.
