Absolutely fantastic.relaxing stay
We had visited the area before and this was our first time at this resort and it was perfect in every way. We stayed in a beach front villa which was excellent,fully equipped with everything you needed for a relaxing stay and so very close to the beautiful beach and sea . We had our own sun beds on the villa but also free use off the beach ones which were shaded by the trees if required which was great when relaxing reading a book . The breakfast was great with lots off choices to cater for all as was the beach restaurant. This was absolutely one-off the most perfect stay’s we’ve had in the four years that we have explored Thailand. It’s such an oasis off calm and a totally relaxing environment. Must also mention the very friendly and helpful staff who absolutely helped to make this experience wow…..

Beautiful beachfront resort, perfect for relaxation
Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort is beautifully located on a stunning, quiet beach. The resort offers both bungalows and pool access rooms, and in our opinion the Beach Bungalows and Pool Access rooms are the best choices – spacious, comfortable and with a fantastic setting.
There are two swimming pools and free sunbeds on the beach, which makes relaxing very easy. The beach restaurant is lovely, with good food and tasty drinks. As a hotel guest you receive a 10% discount, which is a nice bonus.
Breakfast was very good, with an egg station, and if you’re lucky you can sit outside with a sea view, which really makes the morning special.
The staff are very friendly and clearly try their best to make your stay pleasant. The minibar is stocked with reasonably priced items, and the room amenities are good: shampoo and shower gel are provided, the beds are comfortable, and beach towels are available.
One slightly strange point is the deposit policy: a deposit of 4000 THB in cash or €100 is required. Paying by credit card is possible, but then you receive the refund in cash. At check-out they first inspect the room before returning the deposit. We received ours back without any issues, but it still felt a bit unusual.
The area around the resort is very quiet. There are only a few other restaurants nearby and no shops within walking distance. However, it’s easy to take a Grab to Ao Nang or other nearby places if you want more activity.
Overall, if you’re looking for peace, quiet and relaxation, this is a wonderful resort in a beautiful location. Highly recommended for a calm beach getaway.

Nice time in Krabi.
We spent a week at the Tup Kaek Beach Resort in Krabi at the end of January/beginning of February 2026. It was a beachfront bungalow, number 2415, which was very nice. It was well-maintained, spacious, and had all the amenities. The gardens are beautiful, with trees and orchids everywhere. The food is good, but the restaurant next to the beach isn't very inviting. Perhaps if they dimmed the lighting a bit and put tables on the sand, it would completely change the impression. The breakfast is very good and varied; they even make roti, a type of pancake typical of Thailand—the best of the entire trip so far, without a doubt. The beach is excellent, one of the best and least crowded in Krabi. My only criticism is that one day I saw and took pictures of a white substance that had been poured from the hotel and landed directly on the beach. They should be more careful. We would definitely return.
Excellent Hotel with Spectacular Views
We enjoyed our stay immensely at this fantastic resort. Everything was of a high standard. Our room was a good size with a large balcony. The shower and toilet area was modern and very clean. The daily cleaning service was very efficient. The breakfast was excellent with a huge range of options. The outside seating had a wonderful view of neighbouring islands. The grounds and swimming pools are very well-cared for daily. The beach is beautiful with ample seating and the views are spectacular. All the staff were professional, welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Peaceful place to chill and friendly staff
We have been to Krabi before. Choosing Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort this time because we wanted to find a hotel with beach front location and also try to avoid tourists. Our three nights' experience didn't disappoint us. It's not any of the luxury brand, but it has everything we needed. Our beach front cottage is spacious and clean. Air conditioner cool and quiet. Well-equipped room with towels and other amenities. The hotel ground is clean, green, and well maintained. Despite a bit noise from the long tail boats, direct access to the beach or sit outside on the deck have been our highlights. It's not like other resorts close to shops, restaurants, or bars; this resort has well equipped restaurants. We didn't venture out at all and enjoyed every meal there. Special thanks to the staff team, each and every one of them has been friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant team. Recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beach resort with quietness, peaceful beach, and lovely staff.
