Wyndham Grandi is close to all activities yet removed from the hustle and bustle of Punta Cancun. Just 15 minutes from the Cancun International Airport we are within walking distance to water sports and the islands newest golf course.

Absolutely incredible service. The waiters were very attentive to our needs. Shoutout Julio and Alberto! They were the best!
Worst service ever
Worst experience ever. Basically from when we walked in our experience was awful.
Rooms: we requested a king and got a double. When we asked for a king bed they said there weren’t any available despite this being their offseason. When we started to settle into our room the we found out the phone and tv does not work not a big deal but on top of being a little upset about our room it was another thing. We travelled with family and one family paid EXTRA for an ocean view room and they didn’t get it. When they complained again they said sorry there weren’t any rooms available. When they pushed back they were given a suite.
Food: when we booked we believed we would have access to every restaurant that was advertised. When we arrived half were closed due to it being the offseason. If we would have known this we wouldn’t have picked the Wyndham. Food was okay they had some food that was great but overall nothing too crazy. Two restaurants required a reservation and one of those was adults only. Getting a reservation was the worst. You have to do it through their app which is not user friendly and it opens at 9am but if you don’t do it correctly you’re out of luck because it’s filled within 5 minutes. You have to be quick and talk to someone to figure out the secrets to reserving. When you walk into the restaurant that you reserved half is empty. They only sit 3-4 tables per hour. It’s frustrating to see when you have to jump through hoops to get a table only to see the restaurant empty. This was during the offseason so I can’t imagine what it’s like during their busy season. The adults only restaurant allows kids too. Not a big deal but why have that requirement?
Pools: were nice and clean
The rules for dress code don’t matter either. One place will say no beachwear yet everyone’s walking in from the pool. Not a big issue but why have these rules.
Service sucked. The actual servers were great but whenever you talked to management and complained they would shrug their shoulders and say sorry. We felt like no one cared to help us when we ran into problems. We were told one night by Joel, with your room credit you can have steak or lobster for dinner. We said great we’ll have lobster gave Joel our room number and waited in La Paloma for 40 minutes with no one checking on us. When we flagged down a waiter he checked with Joel and we find out that our credit was used. (It was not) Joel went to the front desk to double check turns out they checked the wrong room. We had our credit. Not a big issue but what irked us was that no one came to us about this issue. We were waited for 40 minutes before asking and then they tell us. All Joel did was shrug his shoulders and say sorry it was the front desks fault. Okay but why didn’t you tell us. Again he shrugged his shoulders and said sorry.
We complained to multiple people about how our stay was awful and we were so disappointed yet everyone said sorry and shrugged their shoulders. No one cared for us.
If you made it this far in the review, honestly don’t book with them. You’ll only be disappointed.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at Wyndham Grand Cancún!
We had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham Grand Cancún! The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff truly make the experience special. The food and service have been excellent, and we have felt so welcomed throughout our stay.
We especially want to recognize Victor, our waiter at breakfast and lunch. He is absolutely exceptional! He remembers what everyone in our group likes to eat and drink without us even having to ask. His attention to detail, friendly personality, and outstanding service make every meal feel special. It is clear that he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does.
Victor is a true asset to the resort, and employees like him are what make guests want to return. We are so grateful for his kindness and wonderful service!
We highly recommend the Wyndham Grand Cancún and look forward to coming back. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! 🌴☀️

We had a wonderful experience at this all-inclusive resort! The service was excellent, and the staff truly made our stay extra special. A special thank you to Ramon, Samuel, Julio, Manuel, Antonio, and Elvia for their kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding hospitality. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their positive attitudes and exceptional service made our vacation even more enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciate all their hard work and would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with amazing service! We can’t wait to come back! 🌴☀️
