Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya was exceptional, and the outstanding service from the staff made it truly memorable. The bellman, Manuel, greeted us warmly and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Each day he would greet us and chat about how our day was. He was the first staff member we met and set the tone for a wonderful stay. Our waiter, Benjamin, provided attentive, friendly, and professional service at every meal. His recommendations were excellent, and they made every dining experience feel special. Hats off to the chef…the food was beautiful! The concierges, Oziel and Karina, went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect, assisting with reservations, and any needs we had. They took genuine care of us with enthusiasm. The spa staff provided a wonderful and relaxing experience for us. The hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail from these team members exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya such a relaxing and unforgettable experience. We will definitely be returning!
Felt like home
At the Waldorf Astoria Rivera Maya, we’ve had an incredible experience from the moment we arrived. In this ocassion my mom and I visited Cancun for a mom and daughter trip. The first day Dafne and Paty at the front desk welcomed us with impeccable hospitality, making us feel right at home from day one. Every thoughtful detail that Olga prepared in our room made our stay even more special.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Miguel, Adrián, Benjamín, and Alberto took wonderful care of us every morning with exceptional service and genuine kindness. The menu is so varied and every meal was perfectly cooked and served.
Although the beach was affected by a significant amount of sargassum, the activities organized by Cynthia, Montserrat, Esperanza, and Ale helped us stay relaxed, entertained, and positive throughout the day. They truly made a difference by helping us disconnect and enjoy our vacation. We created charms, painted alebrijes and beautiful bracelets.
We also loved the “Clearing Training” classes with William, which allowed us to reconnect with our body, mind, and soul. We had core training classes and yoga sessions. My mom really enjoyed it and her lower back too.
Our afternoons by the pool were unforgettable thanks to Omar, whose smile and charisma brightened every day, as well as the outstanding service from Luis Gabriel, Sebastián, Giovanni, Gerardo, and Javier.
Watching the sunsets while listening to the amazing musical duo Mariana and Brayan was magical, and ending each day with a spectacular dinner at Malpece, where JL and Alejandro provided exceptional service, was the perfect finishing touch.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya getaway
Our family had an incredible stay at the Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.
The property is absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, peaceful, and surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The food throughout the resort was outstanding, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and excellent service everywhere we went.
A special thank you to our poolside server, Diego Ruiz, who truly made our vacation memorable. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality were second to none. My 15-year-old son wanted fried fish, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Diego didn’t simply say no—he went above and beyond by speaking with the chef, who took one of the fresh fish offered on the regular menu and specially prepared it fried just for him. They brought it directly to us poolside, and it ended up being the best meal of our entire trip. That level of customer service is something you rarely experience.
We also treated ourselves to the couples’ Stress Relief Massage at the spa, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The therapists were exceptional, the facilities were beautiful, and the entire experience left us feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated.
One of the best parts of our stay was seeing how much our 15-year-old son enjoyed himself. It’s not always easy to impress a teenager, but he had an amazing time and said he would absolutely love to come back.
The Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya delivers true luxury while making you feel genuinely welcomed. Exceptional staff, outstanding food, beautiful accommodations, a world-class spa, and unforgettable service from people like Diego Ruiz are what set this resort apart. We will definitely be returning!

Luxury, warmth and a wonderful family experience
We had a wonderful stay at the Waldorf Astoria Cancun. The hotel is truly luxurious, elegant and beautifully designed, but what made our stay especially memorable was the incredibly kind and attentive staff. Everything feels thoughtful and high-quality, yet the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. It’s also a fantastic choice for families. Special thanks to Cinthia and Esperanza, the two wonderful animators. We would happily return!
Courteous stuff and beautiful hotel
I absolutely loved staying at Waldorf Astoria RM: it felt like heaven. There isn’t enough words to describe how beautiful and pristine the property is. More importantly everyone from the staff was welcoming and beyond thoughtful. I was especially thankful for Ale, Cinthia and Esperanza who are in charge of healthy corner where they hold activities for kids and adults. It was a perfect place to connect with other guest and for kids to make friends. That was a place my family felt the most home away from home :)
