Decent relaxing resort
Overall decent. You can see where the hotel needs some updating. Activities are limited. Good a hit or miss. Room service was great! Ambience was beautiful. Great photogher on site. Get there early for a lounge. Drinks are a hit or miss. Find a good bartender and keep going to that one. Dinner quality was a hit or miss as well. Quality I would have thought would have been better. Dragons was the highlight of the dinners. Relaxing atmosphere and quiet.
You guys NEED to visit
Angel was the best ever. He was very knowledgeable on Secrets resorts and the Mexico area. Pool blackjack was so fun to play! The ambience of the resort was amazing.
Love the Sea Salt Grill at Secrets The Vine
Beautiful resort with amazing views.had lunch at the Sea Salt grill and the braided salmon and Sea bass was amazing! Our hostess Ana and our server Victor were both fantastic! Great wine pairing…and it’s all included! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay at Secrets The Vine — Stunning Views, Exceptional Service, and Great Dining!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Secrets The Vine Cancun! From the breathtaking views and outstanding hospitality to the delicious food and entertainment, there were so many memorable moments throughout our trip. Here are a few highlights:
Exceptional Concierge Service — Special Thanks to Mauricio!
Our dedicated concierge, Mauricio, truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. On multiple occasions, he was able to accommodate requests that the front desk or other hotel staff couldn't fulfill. His attentiveness, resourcefulness, and genuine dedication to guest satisfaction really stood out. A huge thank-you to Mauricio for making our stay extra special!
Stunning Room and Breathtaking Views
Our room was beautiful, but the view was absolutely spectacular! As one of the tallest buildings in the surrounding area, Secrets The Vine offers incredible panoramic views. We still can't believe we got to wake up to such an amazing view every single morning. It was easily one of the most memorable parts of our trip!
Fantastic Cabaret Show at Red Vine Piano Bar
One of the unexpected highlights of our stay was the cabaret show at the Red Vine Piano Bar. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and the vocalist in particular was phenomenal! The incredible voice and stage presence made the show truly captivating. We were thoroughly impressed by the talent and energy of the performance. An absolute must-see for anyone staying at the resort!
Relaxing Spa Experience and Preferred Club Benefits
We really enjoyed the Preferred Club lounge and spa experience. The massage was fantastic, and the hydrotherapy circuit was especially enjoyable. The cold plunge and jacuzzi were our favorites! It was also a great perk that hydrotherapy was included as part of the Preferred guest package. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently treated us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel welcomed and well cared for.
Excellent Dining at Bluewater Grill and Sea Salt Grill
We had several enjoyable dining experiences, but two restaurants stood out:
Bluewater Grill: One of our favorite dining experiences of the entire trip! The food was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. Even though we were among the last guests at the restaurant, our waiter never made us feel rushed. Instead, he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely welcomed. That level of hospitality really left an impression. We would absolutely dine here again!
Sea Salt Grill: A great spot for a delicious, casual bite near the pool. We especially enjoyed the Caribbean Ceviche, Octopus Enamorado Tostada, Salmon, and Sea Bass. Everything was tasty, and the convenient poolside location made it even better. Definitely another restaurant we'd happily revisit!
Helpful Tip for Future Guests — Restaurant Dress Code
One tip for anyone planning a stay: Be sure to pack at least one pair of long pants for men! Some of the resort's restaurants have dress codes requiring men to wear long pants for dinner. I wasn't aware of this when making our reservation (though I may have overlooked the information), so it's worth checking the dress code for each restaurant before your trip. A little planning ahead will help ensure you can enjoy all the dining options without any surprises!
Overall — A Memorable Experience!
Secrets The Vine delivered a fantastic vacation filled with beautiful accommodations, breathtaking views, delicious food, excellent entertainment, and genuinely caring staff. What stood out most was the hospitality — from Mauricio's exceptional concierge service to the thoughtful attention we received at the restaurants, spa, and Preferred Club.
We left with wonderful memories and would happily return. A special thank-you again to Mauricio and everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

We checked out earlier today from a 2 night stay at Secrets (after a few nights in Riviera Maya elsewhere.) our experience at secrets from check-in to check out was wonderful! Our check-in was at the 21st floor VIP lounge. It’s nice because you can have a bite to eat or something to sip on while you wait to check in. From there, our butler walked us to our room. It was nice to have someone to reach out to if needed on WhatsApp. Our room was spacious, clean, and aesthetically calm and pleasing. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The amenities were also well thought out. The balcony is a wonderful size to enjoy your morning coffee. It’s worth booking through the VIP package. It was nice to have a private pool area and restaurant that had fewer people. The food quality was best at Olio (but grumpy or inattentive waiters.) the three other restaurants we tried had amazing service, but the food was somewhere between a 7 to 8 out of 10. We enjoyed the pools and the beach service. The entertainment was nice. The gym is large. The spa experience was decent. We did the hydrotherapy included in our package. Overall a very tastfully done place! I would stay again as well as recommend it to friends!
