If you're going for the rooftop pool... DON'T
I'll start with the positive. The staff was wonderful, the facility was clean and beautiful. Moving on, immediately after check-in we were whisked away to speak with a resort employee about the resort and then ended with a high pressure pitch to attend a 90 minute Prime Membership presentation. Do not fall for the "free" or discounted things they are offering for you to attend. They offered us discounted drink passes for the rooftop pool parties only to find out the rooftop was closed for construction. Not only that, BE AWARE... you cannot get served a drink at the rooftop pool unless you pay for a $75 wristband. You cannot bring a drink either. It's $75 each or die of thirst in 100 degree weather. There is no place on the website that states this. If you are going for the rooftop pool, don't. Because of the extra charge, it is pretty dead up there. We feel misled because the rooftop pool was a big selling point to us. We didn't use it once. The main pool and view was beautiful. I wish they had provided more activities and entertainment at the pool and in the evening. One day there was a foam party at the pool which was fun, but besides that is was pool volleyball, cornhole or horseshoe. We were there 5 nights and there was one 30 minute show the last night we were there. That was the only night with live music and some acrobatic acts. We never saw any dancers or singers It was mostly things like karaoke, music trivia or a DJ. Any other all-inclusive resort we have been to had nightly shows and amazing "entertainment teams" that are there to keep the vibe fun. Also, being an adult only resort invites some pretty unsavory behavior. I'm far from a prude, but it was days filled with bare butt cheeks and twerking. So if that's your thing, this may be for you. When we got home, my daughter asked what was the best thing we did and honestly, we couldn't come up with anything that stood out. Wrapping it up, we were disappointed by the rooftop pool and lack of activities and entertainment. Plus, the Cloud 9 restaurant was closed. BTW, were were there at the end of September 2026

My experience was 10/10 . The food was great and when i arrived I upgraded to diamond club . Our butler Arturo was the BEST. he truly made our experience wonderful. I will be back

First time here and it was an unforgettable experience! It was such a greatbgirls trip, the rooms were clean, the oean view was magical, I highly recommend the diamond club experience! The service was incredible! We had the best butler, Arturo, he was on it! Even on his day off he made sure our group was doing well. I can't forget to give a big shout out to Ana our server in the fiamond pool area, she was such a vibe! Ana made sure we were taken care of and always brought a smile and loads of energy. Shout out to the bar tenders also in the diamond pool area, William, Luis, Miguel and Brian who had great recommendations, always kept us laughing and just making our experience so memorable!

My stay was really good overall! I do wish the food and drinks were a little better, but the service definitely made up for it. I would recommend the Royalton brand and would love to try some of their other resorts in different countries!
A special shoutout to my butler, Arturo! He was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful throughout my entire stay. Anytime I texted him, he always had an answer ready and was so kind and attentive. If there was anything he could do to make my stay better, he was on it right away! I truly hope anyone staying here gets the chance to have Arturo as their butler because he made the experience that much better.
Overall, I would definitely recommend coming to check this resort out for yourself!

Diamon experience with Daniel & Monse (Butlers)
Our Butlers Daniel & Monse made are stay extremely seemless and easy. It was a very relaxing trip and they made sure our acccomdation needs were always met.
