Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This hotel is amazing! We stayed for 5 nights. They have many options for food and entertainment. All the staff is helpful and friendly, but there's a waitress in particular who goes above and beyond, her name is Sofia Parrilla. She's excepcional and made our experience at restaurants amazing! We're definitely coming back to this hotel. Iris, our housekeeper was also amazing. Check out the decoration in our room 😍
Our BA flight got delayed for 24 hours so we were put up in Solaris for one night so this review is based on minimal experience.
It was - okay. I was glad we didn’t stay here for the whole holiday.
The hotel is a bit underwhelming in terms of decor and has the blandness of a conferencing centre and is in need of repair and decorating.
The food was also a bit so so with not a lot of variety.
The rooms were smallish but functional with a minibar.
The pool area whilst compact was very good with a variety of pools and swim up bar. Service was a bit slow but overall I thought they were really good.
The hotel opens onto the beach and that was lovely - turquoise water and no sargasso when we went. We even got to see sea turtles nesting at night.
The entertainment team were really great and very enthusiastic and managed to get a good vibe going at the pool. It was fun.
Excellent experience as always. Fun atmosphere with very attentive staff. Suleica and Israel are so great at keeping the guests entertained!
Loved this place Guillermo the concierge was very helpful and nice
Royal Solaris Cancun was never originally part of my Mexico plan. I arrived in Cancun two days before the rest of my family, so I booked this resort very last minute just to have somewhere comfortable to stay before the “full family chaos” officially began!! 😄 Honestly, it turned out to be a really nice surprise. For a last minute all inclusive booking in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, the price was very reasonable compared to many other resorts nearby. It’s definitely not the most luxurious or high-end option in Cancun, but that’s also not what I expected from it. Having two quiet days alone before my family arrived gave me the perfect chance to enjoy Cancun at my own pace, pool, beach, gym, food, sleep… repeat. The pool area was beautiful and comfortable, with direct beach access and a calm atmosphere during the day. The food was actually better than I expected for this price range, and the all-inclusive setup made everything easy and stress-free. I also really liked the gym, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Would I call it a luxury resort? No. But would I stay there again for a short relaxing Cancun stay at a fair price? Absolutely. For travelers looking for a solid all-inclusive in the Hotel Zone without paying luxury resort prices, this place honestly does the job very well.
