The international airport lies about 20 km away.

Another great Riu
I stayed at different RIU hotels in Cancun a few times in the past. This time was just as wonderful. The fun starts when you check in to the hotel with a free glass of champagne. Checking is was a breeze, and we were in our room very quickly. We were on the 7th floor and had a balcony. Could see the beach, the pools and the oceans. How pleasant. The food at the buffet was great. The Steakhouse, Italian restaurant, and the sports bar were also awesome. I like to snorkel, and sail. I was surprised to find an artificial reef right at the RIU Cancun beach. It runs the entire length of the hotel. There are also free Hobie cat sailboats to enjoy. There is a $10 one time agricultural fee each person must pay when visiting MX. There is unlimited alcohol in each room. It was a lot of fun to watch the Soccer game at the hotel theater. Great to see Spain take the cup! Another wonderful stay at RIU. I can't wait to come again!

10 days Trip to Cancun
Spent 10 days here at this resort staff and atmosphere was great especially the entertainment team at poolside full of great energy and always got everyone involved in the activities

The hotel was great and the staff as well. Buffet was good. Dinner at the restaurant, reservations not required. HIGHLY recommend. When I checked in the person did not recommend as it first came first service but failed to say that the list is long and they have a cut off time. The bartender at the pool bar are great. The mixers are super sweet.

My stay at Riu Cancún was amazing! The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I had an unforgettable experience and would definitely love to return!
