The hotel is located in first-line of the beach, and 24 km from the airport. It has 288 comfortable rooms, a Spa and a large beach. It has two restaurants: La Veranda with a beautiful view of the swimming pool, of the gardens and to the main terrace, where you will enjoy the buffet and themed dinners. El Mirador, with a romantic and luxurious atmosphere , with an incomparable Caribbean sunsets. Three bars: Lobby Bar, with a great variety of national and international drinks. The dune, located next to the upper pool, is quiet and cosy. La Langosta, located in the main pool of the hotel. And finally two snacks-bar: The Garden, the favorite place for children with delicious burgers, hot dogs and drinks. And the Patio La Veranda, with delicious light dishes. It also offers a wide variety of activities and watersports such as water aerobics, dance or football on the beach among others. It has two swimming pools and a gym. On the other hand, you can visit the Mayan ruin of Yamil Lu'um, which has access from the hotel. Alternatively, can go to La Isla shopping center, which is across the hotel, in the heart of the hotel zone.

Worst hotel I've ever been, but they don't care! Thus, just avoid it.
To start they gave us a lower level room, they simply don't care and blame the travel agency (DECOLAR). I paid more for a room with balcony and sea view, didn't have it. The food is terrible, you will be able to loose some Weight (with no extra payment). The room had a dripping on the toilette that they were not able to fix. The main entrando bar was ok (since you give them a tip in advance). Please, avoid having your family to a place like this.

Family Trip 2026
My family had a great time. The hotel provides everything you need to have a great experience. You don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to because everything is available. Worth every penny, and would do it again in the future.

Great place for dining
Italian restaurant in Park Royale hotel great food very clean and professional service. Carmen Rojas was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend all of the above to everyone. Great place. Thank you Carmen !!!
Horrible Resort in Cancun
Absolutely one of the worst resorts (not sure you can even call it that any more) we have ever stayed! I have been coming to the Park Royal Beach Cancun for almost 30 years now as a member of the Royal Holiday Club - which I now plan to cancel) and it has gone seriously downhill! The room is terrible (cracked tables, no lights that work, no view at all)! Most of the food places are closed - only the buffet (very bad buffet) and Italian restaurant, which was playing heavy bass dance club music, not dining music. It was so disorienting and uncomfortable that we had to leave even before we ordered. The lobby bar had no tables or chairs - some sports game on the big TV. The bar at the pool was closed at 8:00 PM! So no after dinner drinks. I strongly do not recommend the Park Royal Beach Cancun! You can easily find anything better!

The only restaurant open was the Buffet. Breakfast was the same the 5 days we stayed. Place was clean but definetly needs updates.
