Aggressive behavior to join loyal reward club
Great hotel as such but the pushy behavior to join your rewards program has to stop. Feels like aggressive time share selling and takes away the joy of being a guest. You are shooting yourselves in the foot as it makes me not want to come back to Melia. I’m on holiday, I don’t want to be lured into time share sales pitches which turns rude and aggressive when not interested.
An EXCELLENT choice
My husband and I stayed in the Adult Only section. Our friends stayed in the main tower. Absolutely the best experience for both parties. The Adult only pool and cabanas are clean and well attended to. Omar was our personal concierge and went above and beyond. He made our dinner reservations, excursions, things for the room, all with a smile and positive attitude. As the person who is the planner, having Omar taking care of all the details allowed me to just relax and enjoy our stay. Our room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. All employees around the pool (Cinthia, Gemma, Vitor and Horatio), the employees in the restaurants/buffet, Alejandro in the Gelato/Coffee bar (he makes the BEST iced coffee), Carla from the Membership/Circle Club, David from the bellhop staff….everyone was so kind, happy and ready to get you whatever you needed. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The cleaning and maintenance staff might be the secret heroes. They keep all of the bathrooms clean (NEVER saw a dirty bathroom or paper on the ground), washing windows, glass hand rails, re-potting plants… you see them fixing and maintaining the grounds to keep it as luxurious as possible. My only one suggestion for improvement is in the restaurants for dinner, sometimes my food wasn’t hot. You could tell it was premade and didn’t get warmed up enough. In Sal the sides were lukewarm. In the Italian restaurant, the chicken Parmesan was also lukewarm. But I still ate it and it should not distract from the overall positives of our stay. Because, the best part is if you are still wanting more, you can hit the buffet 😂
We are dreaming of when we can go back or checkout another Melia property. Thank you for one of our best vacations!!

We can't praise all of the Reserve staff enough. Alicia, the Reserve Manager, and her team all provided first class service. Thanks for a very warm welcome.
The entire staff at Sante and all of the pool concierges couldn't do enough for us. We thank you all for a very enjoyable week.
Our concierge, Galdino, is not only our concierge, but he is also a friend. Galdino goes out of his way to ensure every little detail is taken care of. When Galdino wasn't available, Natalia was there to assist.
Alicia, the GEX Manager, is a great addition to the Paradisus Cancun team.
A special thanks to Johan and Diego, and all of their staffs for providing excellent service in the restaurants. A special shout out to Melvin, our server at Cappella for our family dinner and to Antonio, the restaurant captain. Also, a shout-out to Daniel, manager of SAL, who always remembers us.
We always like to recognize individuals who work very hard. These individuals don't always get the appreciation from guests. Our special thanks to Victor who cleans the Reserve pools and to Paula who cleans the bathrooms and areas around the Reserve area.

I recommend it
The family gathered at the Paradisus Cancun.
We chose it because some friends who had stayed there before recommended it.
We found the facilities renovated and pleasant.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The service in general, and especially the services related to children, and the staff in general, were excellent.
We were very satisfied with our stay.

Too many things went wrong on top of that we got sick of the food that we ate that were still recovering from.
