Great food and good service at La trattoria.
Had a wonderful meal at La trattoria! Great atmosphere and the meal prepared by Chef Mariano Tuz, in full view of us, great to watch. Our waiter, Carlos Cordero, was very friendly and looked after us with his service and sense of humour. It was the best meal we had during our 4 night stay at Occidental.

Great Vacation, the staff made it better
It was 50 Belizeans on Vacation. This is an all inclusive Resort & the food and rooms were nice. Four restaurants with a wide variety of options. But the staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful. Shoutout to Rosario Hernandez, Jose Luis Perez and Oddulia .Z We will be back to Cancun and will be staying here… From Maritza!

Wonderful first experience in Cancun – outstanding service
We had a wonderful stay at Occidental Tucancun and could not be happier with our experience. This was our first trip to Cancun, and the hotel made it truly memorable.
Our room was beautiful, with an absolutely amazing view, and we really appreciated the attention and care we received during our stay. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding — everyone was welcoming, professional, friendly and attentive.
We were also very impressed with the quality and variety of the food. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and we genuinely enjoyed our meals throughout the stay.
What impressed us most was the level of service and hospitality. We are now staying at another hotel in Cancun, and this has made us appreciate even more the quality of service we received at Occidental Tucancun.
For our first trip to Cancun, this was an excellent experience. We are already thinking about coming back with our children in the future and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so special. We truly hope to return soon.

Good place to rest
Staff did their best to make us feel like home, definitively next year this hotel will be one of our options.

Great family trip, loved the lower pool
We had the best family trip here this past October. The absolute highlight was hanging out by the lower pool around 3:30 in the afternoon when the sun started dipping behind the main building. We snagged three loungers right at the edge overlooking the beach, and the breeze coming off the ocean was just right after a hot midday swim. One of the pool servers, Carlos, brought us a big plastic bowl of freshly made tortilla chips and warm salsa that had just enough lime in it, along with cold mango smoothies for the kids. Sitting there with our feet dipped in the water while watching the waves crash against the shore felt so relaxing. It was a very unique spot to unwind before dinner. The rooms gave us great sleep every night, and the friendly staff really treated us like family the entire week. We will definately book this place again next fall.
