Great place to stay.
We went there for my sister’s wedding. The hotel is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The food is good. The jacuzzi and swimming pool areas were well maintained. We had karaoke, life music, and DJ one night of our stay. The wedding was well organized at the beach with DJ.

Honest NYX Cancun review
Pros:
The staff is by far the best thing about this resort, closely followed by the food. The staff was attentive, patient, kind, and understanding. Every request we had was answered within a reasonable time.
Shout-out to German, he was funny, took time to get to know us and learned our preferences fast.
By far the Cleanest resort we've ever been to. Spill something and within 60 seconds, someone comes to mop or broom it out.
The pool was always clean and warm. There are daily activities hosted by the entertainment crew and they were funny and nice.
The drinks are good, the bartenders are professional and offer great service.
Due to September being around rainy season, the waters were full of algae. The beach however was cleared daily, wasn't perfect, but they did a great job cleaning it. Definitely the cleanest resort beach around that zone.
Cons:
The resort is somewhat ”old" and lacks modern amenities. 3 of the 4 six story buildings don't have elevators.
The main building is quite small, so the evening events take place in the lobby. This means that if you're on the lower levels of the main building, better bring ear plugs, because the loud music doesn't stop till 12.
Also, because the resort is located on the main hotel boulevard, there are cars all day and night driving through. If you are placed in a lagoon view room, prepare to hear trucks and honking 24/7.
Unfortunately, noise issues don't end there. They are currently renovating, so expect construction noises all day between 9 am and 7 pm. We wanted to take naps a few times as we got sick (probably from the airport/plane), but with drilling and hammering, without earphones it's impossible to nap.
High price for low quality
The restaurant staff treated me like a thief whenever I came to join my friends at their table during lunch. I didn't eat anything or take anything from the table; I simply had messages to convey. Then there were the dripping, noisy air conditioners and the deafening noise from construction crews outside the window. Finally, there was the annoying practice of requiring hotel guests to wear identification wristbands—just like kindergarteners or prison inmates.

Diego!!!!!! He has given the best service in the whole on NYC hotel. Very professional, friendly and his a keeper!!! Personally he needs to be a manger, he knows how to give excellent customer service
So many fun family activities!
Estefania, Francisco, and Luis make this resort so much fun! They have recently added some new activities that have elevated the experience including wine and agave tasting plus a mixology class. My family keeps coming back to the NYX because of the fun activities, beautiful and fun atmosphere, and the tasty food.
