Secrets Mirabel is our new favorite resort! The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure our visit was exceptional and that my husband had a great birthday. We were greeted by Fonzi when we arrived and immediately knew were in good hands. He listened intently and made sure that all of our requests were taken care of down to the smallest detail (extra bottle water, hangers, special decorations etc..) Because we are big hydrotherapy fans , Fonzi helped us coordinate a daily service. Fonzi checked in on us everyday and truly made our stay special. The spa team was also excellent. They were warm and friendly. Manuel and Edgar made sure we relaxed and enjoyed our time there. The restaurants and food exceeded our expectations. Every meal we had was delicious. Bluewater Grill, El Patio and Olio were our favorites but you cannot go wrong with any of the restaurants. The preferred areas in this hotel are top notch. The preferred pool and pool bar were so much fun. Julian and Angel are both excellent bartenders. Abraham set us up every day and always greeted us with a smile. The views from every restaurant and bar are spectacular. We enjoyed ending every night at the Skybar watching sunset with aa amazing craft cocktail. We highly recommend visiting Secrets Mirabel!

Overall this is a very good resort and you will have an amazing time. Pros: Customer service is on point. Staff is very kind and attentive. You will feel very well taken care of. And that cleaning staff does such an excellent job!

Cons: Poor food is kind of expected but it was even worse than I anticipated. On top of that, wait times after ordering took roughly an hour every time.

Still, the pros outweigh the cons so you shouldn't have to think twice about booking here.

Went in for a tequila tasting with Miguel at El Patio and left with so much knowledge and an amazing tasting. Miguel knows his stuff inside and out, walked us through each pour, explained what made every tequila or mezcal different, and made the whole thing feel like hanging out with a buddy who happens to be a walking tequila encyclopedia.

The pacing was perfect. Never rushed, never boring. He picked up on what we liked and adjusted on the fly, throwing in extra recommendations based on our taste. The setup at El Patio made it even better, good atmosphere, comfortable, exactly what you want for an evening like this.

If you're even a little curious about tequila, ask for Miguel. He'll turn a tasting into a unique experience.
