I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! there are certain times for their ALL INCLUSIVE the food is absolutely horrible other than the fishery restaurant which is only open until 5:30. The room are so out dated!!! I was told the would send something to the room for my birthday and nothing!!! I say STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE

DO NOT rely on the positive reviews to decide whether to stay at this resort or not. The service workers at this resort have their own business cards with QR codes and ask guests to leave reviews for them after you leave a restaurant, bar, or activity. HONEST REVIEW: We booked this resort through RCI. We had a 2 bedroom unit. The unit was clean and in a very nice location next to the beach. The units were VERY outdated. All the furniture had about 2 inches of paint on them. The refrigerator in one room worked and in the other room the fridge did not work. After our first day they stocked both fridges with sodas, waters, and juices, which was nice, but no alcohol. The rainfall showers in the bathrooms were lovely, with nice water pressure, and the water got super hot.The air conditioner worked VERY well. Food at the restaurants was delicious. We really enjoyed it, however there were only 3 sit down restaurants for dinner, and 2 buffets for breakfast. The 2 buffets had the same food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every single day. It got boring very quick.Room service was quick and the food was delicious but the menu was very limited. The pool and hot tub temperatures were perfect and they kept them very clean. Between the resort beach and Mandala Beach Club they have a sea turtle nest conservation area with informative signs about when the nests were found and when they were going to hatch. I found it super interesting. That was the good. Now the bad. The walls and doors are VERY thin. We heard every step people took in the hallway, and it was very loud at night on the weekends. You are constantly hounded by their "vacation club" sales people. Not only when you walk around the resort, but they call your room daily also. Its obnoxious, especially since they know were staying there via RCI. We already own a timeshare. Why would we want another one? In my 41 years of life I never understood what people meant by "watered down drinks." After staying at Krystal I finally get it. I drank double whiskey cokes all day long and NEVER remotely felt a buzz. The beach was the worst part of the stay. It was absolutely disgusting.Covered in trash and 4 feet deep of seaweed. They didn't even attempt to clean it up. The smell was so horrible I didn't even want to be outside. This resort caters to locals because its very cheap. A lot of the service workers didn't speak English. It was fine for us because we know Spanish but it's just a heads up for other visitors.
