- Hyatt Ziva Cancun

All-inclusive luxury has been redefined with an incredible resort in the most coveted location of Cancun. Inspired by the beauty and culture of the destination, a naturally elegant and airy ambiance blends contemporary décor with Mayan influences. Swim-up suites, authentic cuisine and sprawling infinity pools are just a few of the many delights awaiting guests at the oceanfront Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
Ideally situated in Cancun's most desirable location, Hyatt Ziva Cancun stands on the edge of a picturesque peninsula, the only resort in the region surrounded on three sides by the sparkling Caribbean Sea. The beachfront resort is adjacent to the city's vibrant entertainment district and just 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
I’ll start by saying that my experience at Hyatt Ziva Cancun definitely got better as the stay went on!
As a registered travel agent, I pay attention to the details, not only as a guest but also because I’m always considering whether I would recommend a property to my clients. Before arriving, I had been communicating with Sheila Hernandez, Korean Concierge, about my stay. Unfortunately, my arrival and welcome were not what had been discussed or what I expected. I was initially disappointed and a little agitated, and I honestly wondered if it was a foreshadowing of what the rest of the trip would be like.
I’m happy to say I was wrong!
I was at Hyatt Ziva Cancun for a family wedding, and overall, I had a delightful stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The resort itself is beautiful, and there is plenty to see, eat, and do. You truly could stay on the property for your entire vacation and never feel like you were missing out.
And one word: DOLPHINS!!! What an unexpected bonus! Even if you don’t participate in the dolphin experience, simply being able to see them throughout your stay is special. I loved stopping to watch them. It was surprisingly peaceful and relaxing and became one of my favorite parts of the resort.
There were a couple of misses. Some of the restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowds, and unfortunately, it occasionally came across in their interactions with guests. I also noticed several chairs set up for the wedding that were visibly dirty, including dried ketchup that clearly had not been wiped down beforehand. For a wedding at a resort of this caliber, more attention should have been given to those details.
Thankfully, those moments were the exception and not the rule.
What matters most is how I felt when it was time to leave, and my opinion was completely different from the one I had when I arrived. I genuinely enjoyed my time at Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
Not only will I recommend Hyatt Ziva Cancun to my clients, I plan to return myself. And coming from a travel agent who notices the little things, I think that says quite a bit.
everything is excellent. clean and especially if you looking halal food definitely Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
We had a wonderful experience at Hyatt Ziva Cancun! The resort is beautiful, very clean, and perfect for families. The food was great, the staff was friendly and attentive, and our son had an amazing time.
A special thank you to Benjamin, Jose, Karla at the Italian restaurant, and the wonderful Kids Club team — Karla, Danna, Valeria, Ariana, and Maricruz. The housekeeping ladies were also fantastic and kept our room spotless.
Everyone made us feel so welcome and helped make our son’s birthday vacation truly special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hyatt Ziva Cancun! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing Beach, Amazing Food Options, Amazing Entertainment, Very Family-Friendly, and Dolphins!!! - I loved how they are not uptight when it comes to the restaurants with formal dress codes and having to book reservations in advance. (This is the best thing when you bring kids.) - Thanks, Hyatt Ziva!
A solid, acceptable experience. Clean and orderly, the hotel has a nice beach, great cabanas, and decent food. Staff is friendly. Biggest drawback is that they cannot accomodate larger families. With 3 children, we needed 2 rooms and connecting rooms are not available. So, you have to split your family between 2 areas of the hotel. Another oddity is that none of the elevators have air conditioning. It is odd to go into a hot box at 90 degF to change floors. Pools are nice. Service can be uneven though. Some days it was amazing and almost Luxury-hotel level. Other days......it was lacking. We got a cabana for every day at the hotel and it was probably worth the $300/day.
