All-inclusive luxury has been redefined with an incredible resort in the most coveted location of Cancun. Inspired by the beauty and culture of the destination, a naturally elegant and airy ambiance blends contemporary décor with Mayan influences. Swim-up suites, authentic cuisine and sprawling infinity pools are just a few of the many delights awaiting guests at the oceanfront Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
Ideally situated in Cancun's most desirable location, Hyatt Ziva Cancun stands on the edge of a picturesque peninsula, the only resort in the region surrounded on three sides by the sparkling Caribbean Sea. The beachfront resort is adjacent to the city's vibrant entertainment district and just 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
We spent 7 nights at Hyatt Ziva with pour 18- and 20-year-old children, and it surpassed our expectations. The resort is beautiful. There are so many dining options with almost all of them not needing reservations. The food is top notch and there is something for everyone. The coffee cafe was great, and the candy/ice cream/dessert shop was a hit.
One of the best surprises was how nice the fitness center was with multiple classes offered throughout the day. Edwardo, Gustavo and Patricia were great fitness trainers and led fun classes.
The buffet had so many option for breakfast and lunch. Lennyn was a great server and took great care of our kids since we preferred a nice sit-down breakfast at Tradewinds
Entertainment wise the silent disco and neon party were our favorite. We loved watching the dolphin's and the lighthouse was beautiful.
We had a swim up room, and it was worth the extra money. :)
We recently stayed at Hyatt Ziva Cancun for six nights as a family of four. Before arriving, I was a little reluctant because we had stayed at another so-called five-star resort a few months earlier and were very disappointed with the food and drinks.
Thankfully, Hyatt Ziva exceeded our expectations. The food was consistently good, with only a couple of minor exceptions, and the drinks were excellent, using quality branded spirits rather than cheaper alternatives.
I do have a couple of suggestions that I think would enhance the guest experience. Firstly, I feel the Churros could benefit from Later opening hours. Serving from 7:00am to 11:00am isn't particularly convenient as it overlaps with breakfast, so amending the opening hours would give guests more opportunity to enjoy it.
Secondly, it would be helpful if the hotel clearly displayed what was being served at the food trucks in a central location. We only discovered the pizza truck because we happened to wander over to the quieter pool area. Had we not done so, we would never have known it was there. This certainly didn't spoil our holiday, but it's a simple improvement that would help guests make the most of the facilities.
I'd also like to give a special mention to Daniela at the front desk, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to assist us and is a real credit to the hotel.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and, based on our experience, I would happily recommend Hyatt Ziva Cancun to anyone looking for a family-friendly all-inclusive resort.
This was our 6th visit to Ziva Cancun. We can not find another AI resort that has the same level of service, beautiful beaches, and good food. Although this is a family resort and our kids are now adults we still keep coming back. The kids can be somewhat annoying at times, but we know going in that it is a family resort. We stayed in the pyramid building, room 2531, ocean front, top floor facing the resort, but wow was the view amazing. You could see the entire resort, dolphins, and the expansive ocean. The sargassum was bad on the south side, but we walked about 5 mins down the beach to the clear water. The beach on the north side was perfect!! Crystal clear in a lot of parts and very little sargassum. The menus for the restaurants have changed some, we were a bit disappointed some of our favorite dishes were gone but we found some new ones. All of the restaurants have a wide variety of food. The margaritas from the cart around the north pool and Juan Margarita were amazing! We will continue to keep coming back to Ziva.
Our stay at Hyatt Ziva Cancun exceeded every expectation and was truly one of the best all-inclusive experiences we’ve ever had. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise water on both sides of the resort and stunning ocean views everywhere you look. The beaches are beautiful, clean, and perfect for swimming.
The food was exceptional and far above what you typically expect from an all-inclusive resort. Every restaurant offered high-quality dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety. The drinks were also outstanding, made with premium spirits and served quickly by friendly bartenders.
What made this trip unforgettable was the incredible staff. Every employee greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay.
The resort itself is spotless, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there are plenty of activities for both relaxation and entertainment. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or as a family, Hyatt Ziva Cancun offers something for everyone.
We left with amazing memories and are already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a luxurious all-inclusive resort with spectacular beaches, outstanding food, exceptional service, and an unbeatable location, Hyatt Ziva Cancun is the perfect choice. Highly recommend—10/10!
Our first time to Cancun didn't disappoint by staying at Hyatt Ziva. We went for a wedding and it was the all-inclusive choice by the couple so we booked our stay and all I can say is that everything was excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The front end staff are very personable and pleasant to deal with. Small conversations with Fernando Jimenez at the front when we first arrived provided much welcomed history, culture, and recommendations. All of the concierge were very helpful and provided at each building and floor! The food options are endless and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning local and international choices. Loved the made from scratch quesadilla station and omelet station. There's a barista there making excellent coffee! Had to have my espresso and Latte's for breakfast, even Mexican options that were delicious. Our room was clean and very spacious! We got an Ocean View King in the Pyramid Building. We had a balcony with views of the dolphins below, resort on the left and the ocean on the right. We were on the top floor (5th) so the view was incredible! It was beautiful to wake up to the view in the morning and to close out the night with all of the lights of the property at night. July, it is very hot and humid, our room was always nice and cool when we came back to it. The cleaning staff refreshed everything and it so clean and fresh after. The pools and bars are fun and there are several to choose from. There are always things to eat and/or drink everywhere around the property so it's almost instant access to anything you want. We attended our friends' wedding there and I'm going to say it was the most beautiful and fun wedding we've ever been a part of. Ocean front ceremony at the gazebo, and top floor reception overlooking the ocean and Cancun sunset. Lot's of activity, delicious food and entertainment. It was amazing! I highly recommend this resort, and for our first time to Cancun, I feel we made the right choice to stay here. We will be coming back, hopefully very soon as we only stayed 4 days/3 nights. Not enough time to enjoy the resort nor do more tours outside.
