The staff at this resort are excellent. Friendly, respectful, welcoming and professional! From the start Luis and Daniel in concierge were absolutely on top of everything! Emails were replied to promptly and it got even better once we met them in person. They were both on top of each request we had, as we were celebrating anniversary’s on this trip with our adult sons and their wives. The rooms are spacious, ocean views for all, modern and newly renovated. Twice daily maid service was such a welcome surprise! Poolside service was top notch - we reserved a poolside cabana and it was worth every dollar! Our waiters Martin and Abimael were the best - it seemed like they were always right there to get more drink requests and to fill the ice bucket with cold bottles of water. Danila was exceptionally good- I needed pool floats inflated and she was there to accommodate! She found us poolside on the day of our wedding anniversary and brought over shots and alongside her colleagues, they serenaded us! We felt very special- thank you Dani. Restaurant food was delicious, well prepared and fresh! Spices is a buffet style restaurant serving breakfast and Lunch till 5pm. Food and service was excellent and we were never disappointed with the selection of food offered. Pier 12 outdoor oceanfront restaurant was one that we enjoyed having a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely do not miss their Red Snapper whole cooked fish, it was perfect! The food was always so professionally prepared and delicious- kudos to those chefs, they are amazing. We had the pleasure of dining twice at Bugambilia Mexican style restaurant- all I can say is that the food and service was first class! Silu Asian style restaurant was such a treat! We attended the Hibachi dinner and it did not disappoint! The Speakeasy and Highlights sports bar are not to be missed. We watched the World Cup while we were there and the bar was packed at night! Entertainment could be found everywhere throughout the resort - it was very classy and well presented- we thoroughly enjoyed all of it! This was not our first time to this resort but it was the first visit since the reopening in May of this year! Loved all the physical changes but so happy to say that the service, staff and food quality has not changed - still exceptional on all levels! We will definitely be back soon.

Want to keep it a secret but too good to do so.
The resort blew us away. The customer service, cleanliness and food were far beyond what we expected. Every p[lace we ate was delicious. The servers were great too. We will be going there once a year that is how much we enjoyed it. Being in another country and having no worries about the food was nice. Our room was always well taken care of and every staff member made us feel like they were there for just us. The MVP had to be Louis at Highlights. He made that night special for us watching the world cup.
Again, we cant say enough. There were some minor hiccups but they all made sure to correct them and to make our stay great.
A wonderful stay.
EVERYTHING was nearly perfect. I was overwhelmed by the courtesy extended to me by each, and every staff member that I met or just passed in this hallway. Eduardo,the manager, met me in an elevator and asked if there was anything I needed. I told him, and by magic it was done. I needed something special for my children who were celebrating a 26th anniversary. Ask and you will receive. THANK YOU to everyone there, who made my experience so wonderful.

Experience at Bugambilia
Carlos at Bugambilia was so attentive and kind. The atmosphere is chic and warm at the same time! I would definitely come back here!
Renovation is excellent!
The renovation has caught up with the excellent level of service. They make a point to make sure every aspect of service is covered. Food was great in addition to the atmosphere. Our second time there. We will definitely be back.
