An outstanding hotel with great facilities. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Hotel was clean and modern. Great pool and spa. Good choice of restaurants. Executive chef ensured our dietary requirements were met. We are both vegetarian. The rooms were spacious and sea facing. All rooms are sea facing.

Too many staff to name as all were exceptional, however special thanks to Executive Chef Jesus, Chef Santiago in Spices, Sandy and Erica for the entertainment, Ricky in the pool area, Michele in Spices looking after us during breakfast. The security staff and bell boys making sure we were safe and had plenty of water when we went out.

This is our second visit since the reopening in May, We spent a week in early May and just returned today after a week. We also spent a week right before the remodeling, so third time overall. The rooms are very warm at night. They automatically adjust the air and the room is borderline hot while sleeping - almost impossible to sleep well. This is very irritating while on vacation and at this price point. First, the entire staff is amazing! All very polite, helpful and professional...All were very good! Zero complaints about staff. Kudos to them! The food isn't as good as it was before the remodel and worse than it was in May. The steaks are tough and seem of poor quality, especially the ribeyes; cheaper quality. Not top notch meat. Half the restaurants are outside and it's hot and muggy. The Asian restaurant needs a better variety of food. The sports bar needs some music and lights. It's dark and dreary with no tunes - odd. The sports bar menu also is also lacking. A weird environment for a bar. There is no evening entertainment. Also, the lobby and lobby bar are hot, no air conditioning. Hard to enjoy the main lobby bar while sweating, especially before dinner. The hotel remodel is fabulous looking. Many great changes. It's a boutique hotel and fairly quiet, which is a plus. The televisions in the room are at an awkward angle so you can't lay in bed and watch the TV; another oddity. Personally, I like to watch television in bed while on vacation! The hotel location is qreat and the beach is beautiful. It just seems the prices are going up but the quality and value are going down.

This place is amazing! We traveled with friends and family for a 40th birthday trip and stayed for a week. We had so much fun with day time activities with Erica and Sandy!! Jeronimo at the swim up bar was my favorite, he is so funny and makes excellent drinks- ask for a carajillo! Ricardo also makes great drinks at the swim up bar, and Abimael and Eduardo were a fun time and very attentive serving drinks poolside. Ivan at the Italian restaurant was my favorite server, he was funny and accommodated our big group, including some picky eaters, very well for dinner!! Daniel was phenomenal at the Highlights bar coordinating the silent disco, karaoke and other nightly events. He is a great time and I even had fun singing Un Poco Loco with him one night. He really knows how to host a good time! My favorite food was from the Asian restaurant, and honestly the buffet was great as well. My favorite drink was a mango margarita or a Miami Vice. I could say so many great things about this place, it really was the best vacation… both relaxing and fun/poppin’ at the same time. It was the seriously perfect balance. We will definitely be back!!
