This is the perfect beach holiday location, with public transportation right outside the hotel it is only a short drive to the centre of town. Resort facilities include 4 swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball, mini golf, a game room, children's areas and activities programs, evening entertainment, and a full-service spa. Guests can dine on the finest cuisine in an elegant dining room, or enjoy casual poolside snacks at the resort's seven restaurants, two snack spots, and 7 bars. The hotel has 307 m2 of event space with a maximum capacity of 700 attendees.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Location y 15 min, 1 hour to main attractions in Playa del Carmen and 5 min to The Isla mall. Atmosphere is family friendly, many activities for kids. Rooms are good, good pillows and mattress, AC might not be as cold as I like it but it does the job. I would like to have it set at 70 F (19 C). Value is great, all inclusive makes it even better. Rooms are clean, hotel is clean and well maintained. You cannot hear noise inside the room, and hardly outside room as well. Service is excellent. Hector, Pedro and Rubicel are the best, after so many years coming to Crown Paradise they have become good friends and we will keep coming to visit them every year. They provide the best service during breakfast and dinner, always very attentive and professional.
Crown Paradise has been a place I have been going to since I was 8 years old. I love it here and come back at least twice a year. Luis from the adult pool is the best and makes the best drinks. I’ll be back soon.
Lovely place, service was amazing, the staff so friendly and great food
Writing from the French restaurant (Sans Souçis). Jose made our anniversary evening memorable. The food is on point. Loving my stay thus far. Anna Maria took great care of our room. Carlos at the VIP lounge is a great guy, Antonio at the buffet restaurant and Angel at the concierge are lovely people.
Did I forget to mention Alexander at the check in?
I got more to say but im busy eating now lol.
The resort advertises six à la carte restaurants, but during our stay they were essentially unavailable. Reservations opened at 8:00 a.m., yet by 8:01 there was nothing available. We stayed Monday through Saturday and managed to get only one reservation—for 9:15 p.m. at the Italian restaurant.
What made this especially frustrating was that the restaurants were mostly empty whenever we walked by, appearing to operate at only a fraction of their capacity while guests were told there were no reservations available. As a result, we ended up eating almost every meal at the buffet.
If you're booking this resort because of the advertised dining options, be aware that the reality may be very different. For us, the six restaurants advertised were not meaningfully accessible, which significantly reduced the value of our all-inclusive stay.
