GENERAL

• 1 main building, 13 floors for rooms+ 1 Lobby with Reception and 1 lobby bar. + 1 Ground Floor with buffet rest, pool and 2 bars.
• All rooms Ocean Front view.
• We loved quality of drinks, food and all staff service. We totally recomend it, and for sure we’ll return.

PROs

• Bracelet is room key.
• Non need to worry about beach/pool towels [just "pick and drop"].

CONs

• Most (if not ALL) restaurantes are "First Come, First Served", so you must arrive really early some times to get a table. We “latino people” use to have dinner after 20.00 hrs, so we recomend you to get early.

IMPROVE

• Some flies at the buffet food [mainly in salads]. Could add some type of covers or have tiny “insects repellent fans”.

• “Horma” restaurant dinner menu was outdated in the app versus the paper versión delivered by waiter.

• In restaurante “Al Mar” we order what it was supposed to be a shrimp “skewer” but we received a dish with 6 shrimps, served with its skin, which was hard and “dirty” to eat in a dinner.

• Roof Sound System did not work [couldn't link it to Bluetooth]. But, OUR FAULT, never reported in order to be fixed.

• Some foods in buffet does not say "CHILI” OR “SPICY" and we took some ... We do not eat spicy/chili, so we finally did note ate it.

• It was season when sea turtles are born, so we had the chance to see and “rescue” some of them, along with hotel staff [if not, they get trapped in the seeweed]. Most of people don´t know hotel staff collect them and then give them to the Biologist in order to ta care of them. Event though I reported to Guest Service through the app, I had the impression even they were unaware about this measure. Long story short, Hotel could aware both guests and staff, in order we can all take care of sea turtles.

Once the 2027 renovations sweep through to modernize the guest suites, this dual-property footprint will be one of the most balanced, well-rounded luxury experiences in Cancún.

I travelled with my husband and our adult children and their partners and Iberostar Coral Cancun was the perfect resort for our holiday. Heaps of fully inclusive restaurants and bars to choose from with a fully stocked mini bar and you can get full sized bottles of wine delivered to your room at no extra charge. The room was spacious and comfortable and I loved the deep soaking spa on the balcony overlooking the ocean. There were heaps of activities and shows throughout the day and night organised by the terrific staff entertainment crew that kept all the family happy. But for me the best part was how relaxing it was lying in the pool cabana with cocktails delivered to me and enjoying the infinity pool. Iberostar coral is the best and I will definitely be back.
