Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
No longer the hyped resort. This was my second and last stay. The hotel is being rebranded as Amare at the end of September, so they were not trying to impress us.
Food was sub par with lunch being subjected to just 3-4 items. Room service has more items than lunch.
The energy pool had no energy, it depended on what cloud was at the pool. As a part-time Dj I enjoy all types of music but it was sad that from 12 pm to 5 pm they only played 3 hip hop song that were mixed with Techno.
The club is always a hit nightly.. the rooms are spectacular..
I definitely won't be back
Well i am leaving today sept 5th and im not happy i stayed here last year and it was Amazing however they didnt point out that it was getting new owners and rebranding with that being said all the things that made me come back were gone im not the only one alot of people here were very un satisfied i booked with a travel agent however people that booked directly in the hyatt app got a notification on the changes i dont think thats fair because regardless how you book your still in your resort had i known of it i would've changed my choice its sad because i planned this a year to be Disappointed shame on you.
I just recently stay here at this location end of Aug-Sep 2 . Beautiful location clean, close to the beach but all the restaurants were not open as promise. We had to pay a extra $70 in Silk City for Hibachi and you have to wait for certain time, and this restaurant is only open certain days. They Steakhouse was an hour wait on night and the Italian restaurant was ok. For this to be all in inclusive there was sandwich's one night no chips just the coffee pastries and cookies. Just caught caught a Uber and went in town and eat a the restaurant across the street.
I paid for the VIP package and there was no VIP package it was supposed to be six restaurants and only two were open each day. I notice that they are rising plastic cups and reusing them on the next guest. The food was just okay.
Disappointing experience. 1. Front desk put us friends in a room with clear glass shower that offered no privacy. Asked us to pay for room with frosted glass showers that offered privacy. Nobody would answer the phone for requests. When the did and said they would send someone, no one came! Some friends on our trip got daily turn down service, some didn't.
Construction was happening with noise heard in mornings, but we were never told in advance or at time of check in. The app would say certain restaurants were open when they weren't. For folks in Xhale club or buying bottle service at rooftop bar, they had no food available. Folks had to take elevator down to first floor to get food/eat and then come back up. Definitely not a Hyatt worthy experience that we are used to.
