This property is situated in Athuruwella, Induruwa, on the west coast. It is 3 hours' drive from Colombo and 4 hours' drive from Bandaranaike International Airport.
This luxury, boutique beach hotel comprises a total of 27 suites. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service and a currency exchange facility. There are 2 bars and a breakfast/dining room and guests will appreciate the conference hall and Internet access (charges apply). They can also take advantage of the room and laundry services (for an additional fee) and there is parking for those arriving by car.
The luxuriously furnished suites are air-conditioned and designed in traditional Sri Lankan style. They are all carefully positioned to give guests spectacular views of the shoreline and the sea. All come with an open-air bathroom with a shower/bathtub, a make-up mirror, a dressing room and a hairdryer. The suites also comprise a sleeping deck, a lounge area and a verandah. They offer a king-size bed and are equipped with a telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar, a radio, a CD player and a safe. Furthermore, individually regulated air conditioning units are provided in all suites as standard.
This hotel features a swimming pool with sun loungers and sports enthusiasts can enjoy a work out in the gym. They can also relax in the sauna or the steam room or with a massage treatment (all for an additional fee). They can also pamper themselves with a spa treatment. Pool/snooker is also available.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Beautiful location & Great experience
The location is beautiful, and the atmosphere is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. It's a little expensive, but definitely worth trying at least once. The cleanliness is excellent, and the peaceful surroundings, along with the sea breeze, make the stay truly relaxing. If you enjoy a calm and scenic vibe, you'll love this place. The service is excellent, and the amenities are also very good. The only area that could be improved is the variety of food options. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay. 😊

A calm and gloomy stay at Saman Villas
Great Stay at saman villas . Even through the rain we managed to have a great stay thanks to the hard work of butler sanath . Very friendly staff
Private, Peaceful and Luxurious
Location of the hotel, on top of a cliff, is absolutely beautiful with sweeping views of the sea all around. The architecture, decor and garden lay out are all tastefully done. Our room was spacious with a lovely open air bath and a big comfortable bed. Pool is extremely nice, specially at sunset, with views of the sea and sky all round. Spa is a little expensive but well worth the expense; therapist was great. (Only negative - sound of the waterfall was too loud. I would have preferred a quiet peaceful experience). Gym is spacious and well-equipped. Food is very tasty, well-presented and varied daily. Our butler, Sanath, was excellent, discreet, courteous and skilled at his job. Little touches like the manager regularly chatting with the guests, a choice of welcome drinks served to your room with sweets, a going-away gift of a framed photo and a box of sweets, added to the overall very nice experience. An extremely good stay in a top class hotel. We will certainly be back.

Relaxing resort
Less than two hours from Colombo. Beautiful property with beach access lots of room amenities. I had a very relaxing massage listening to the sounds of nature. Our Butler, Sudath, tended to all our needs. He was very helpful and super courteous. My friends and I will be back!
Peaceful Gateaway with Excellent Service
This is an excellent place to relax and unwind! The location, food and ambience is perfect. We have been provided a personalized service through Nisthantha, who was always available with any request. Special mention to the Sri Lankan spread they have - really awesome. Strongly recomennd this place for a peaceful gateaway!
