Highly recommend
Everything was superb at Thaala! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful, and the hospitality was wonderful. They also have fun games and evening entertainment, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience—I highly recommend Thaala!

Everything was perfect at the Thaala service location! The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Wow, what a great experience! Highly recommended.
Peaceful holiday destination
We stayed in Room 201, a Deluxe Room. It was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The room had a cappuccino coffee machine, a large TV, a luxurious sofa, a comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Most importantly, the room was spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and friendly welcome. The entire Front Office team was very helpful and always had a smile, especially Sanjana from the Front Office team. The Food & Beverage team also provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. Special thanks to Chef Nalaka, who prepared some special dishes especially for us. The hotel architecture, designed by the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa, is beautiful. The gardens are very well maintained, with plenty of greenery and beautiful landscaping. The beachfront location is excellent, and the hotel has two large swimming pools. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel for families and anyone looking for a relaxing, calm, and peaceful holiday. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. Highly recommended!
A Relaxing Beachfront Stay in Bentota
We had a pleasant stay at Thaala Bentota and enjoyed the overall experience.
The resort is in a beautiful beachfront location, with a clean and pristine stretch of beach that was a real highlight. The beach was well maintained and made for a very relaxing setting, whether you wanted to take a walk or simply unwind by the sea.
Our room was clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable. The resort itself had a nice atmosphere and was a good place to relax and slow down.
The buffet was also quite good, with a decent variety of dishes and good overall quality. We enjoyed our meals during the stay.
Overall, Thaala Bentota is a nice resort for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing beach holiday in Bentota. The combination of the beautiful beach, clean rooms, and good food made this a pleasant part of our Sri Lanka trip.
