Lovely time on a girls trip
Stayed at the hotel for 6 nights on a girls trip. We stayed in one bangalow with a very large balcony. The food and drinks were wonderful with a large variety. Service was lovely with many friendly staff. The complex is very large and many places to swim and sun. My only downside was that some of the international guests were arrogant which is no fault to the hotel.
Exceptional location
Firstly this hotel is situated on the most beautiful peninsula. Absolutely stunning grounds - so much greenery- beautiful plants and trees as well as spectacular scenery. -Highly recommend the pottery class with Dilek - she was fantastic and full of fun. We created a lovely cup and plate but you can choose what to make and she will help. -Lots of cats about the resort including kittens which my wee boy loved. -Food and drinks delicious and can’t fault it. The moonlight buffet restaurant is in a lovely outdoor location. There are 3 buffet restaurants and 3 à la cartes. The chopstix is very good. Great service and lots of food! You get sushi, soup, hot and cold starter and main and desert !
- main bar serve great cocktails , sometimes too strong but you can request less alcohol and request other cocktails not on the list. My boy loved the mocktails
-The spa was nice, steam room sauna and hamman. I would encourage you to haggle a bit with prices and my only negative was the massage room could have been a bit warmer but I did go on a cooler day. The guy that booked the massage combined a. Purple of different treatments and gave discount but I don’t think I got the full time on the massage. Said 90 mins but more like 60 mins and half an hour sitting with a face mask on to then wash off myself in the toilet. Massage therapist was lovely. -Kids club there isn’t a lot for older children- my son is 8 and think it’s more geared to younger kids .beaches are stunning and so many nice areas to sunbathe and chill with bars close by and plenty of sunbeds so doesn’t feel too crowded. At beach bars there is 2 different cocktails each day. The slides were good but maybe more water needed on the twisty ones as kept getting stuck and too slow. Lots of fish in sea so bring snorkel and nice to swim out to pontoon. Hammocks lovely too
- plenty activities and entertainment team great! Darts, football, cross fit, fishing was good fun with hand lines
-padel counts cost €20 to hire so didn’t use
- I found the pillows very uncomfortable but you can request different ones and once I got my goose feather pillow I slept fine- very comfortable
- staff are all very friendly and great with kids
- we had a good room up from the main beach after requesting close access to the beach with having a child. The balcony was surrounded by lush green plants and the elevator was handy. It was modern and not dated like I’ve read elsewhere . Maybe some bungalows are more dated

Lovely babymoon - some small improvements could make this a 5*
We just finished 8 nights at Letoonia celebrating our “babymoon” as I am 22 weeks pregnant. Our experience was mostly wonderful with a few small things that could have been better. Overall I would recommend this resort to couples or families with children who are looking for a fun week in a beautiful setting with lots of activities on offer at a reasonable price.
Pros:
- The grounds are absolutely stunning and expansive. We loved our daily walks along the beach path. There isn’t the normal suffocating feeling you have at an all inclusive
- Activities galore - there is so much to do and we barely scratched the surface. We particularly enjoyed the archery.
- Water bottles everywhere. This is a small thing but really appreciated how accessible it was to grab water throughout the resort.
- À la carte restaurants - absolutely fabulous food, setting, and service. Portions were VERY generous.
- Staff - very friendly, some of them with a super fun sense of humour
- Resort is very clean and well maintained
- Variety of drinks - as a pregnant woman I was pleased to find non alcoholic beers, mocktails, and decaf coffee on offer.
Cons:
- The room. We stayed in a club bungalow and found the room quite disappointing. It didn’t have a French balcony as advertised, the layout was awkward (tv didn’t face bed and didn’t swivel) and there was not enough storage.
- Inconsistency - some bars readily made me a decaf coffee and some looked at me like I was insane. It took some learning to figure out what was available where - certain things should just be consistent throughout the whole resort.
- Baggage storage - on the day we checked out we wanted to check our bags for 3 hours before our transfer came. We were very disappointed to find out the baggage storage is an unmanned room that anyone can walk into, which meant we had to sit for 3 hours in the lobby bar with our bags or spend 3 hours paranoid that anyone could steal all of our belongings. A resort of this size that claims to be 5* should have a locked and manned luggage storage service.
- Housekeeping - the daily housekeeping just replaced towels and occasionally changed bedding, the room wasn’t actually cleaned. We noticed days in a row where our water glasses weren’t replaced with clean ones which is gross.
- Buffet food lacked a lot of variety but this is par for the course with all inclusives. The à la carte restaurants kept us from getting bored.
Tip: the queues for the shuttle boat and taxis on Tuesdays for Fethiye market are ridiculous. Plan ahead and leave early AM or be prepared to wait!

Slipping behind the newer competition
Rooms and facilities are beginning to look dated. Paths needed repairing. First went in 2019 and found it great. This time, while the basics are still great. The WiFi was utterly appalling, and not up to the job. Mobile technology has moved on. The buildings looked shabby. I couldn't sit outside unless I wanted to passively smoke. Some outdoor smoking areas please.

Our beautiful letoonia home
Thank you Hotel letoonia for our 4 visit to your wonderful hotel which we class as our home. We loved every second of it. Our favourite was a trip out in the Letoonia boat which we enjoyed. We loved to sun bathe on the sunrise part but that was very popular and difficult to get a sun bed there. There are plenty of other areas with vacant sunbeds I like to think of staff as our friends and some remembered us from previous years. One special person was a waitress Hanife who we saw mainly at catus and moonlight bar. She encouraged me to try some Turkish food and I felt very flattered. Two waiters from the likia restaurant Emre and Emrah always making sure we had a good holiday. Our beautiful server from the Argra bar called Rhe Ann she was a ray of sunshine All the all inclusive was excellent and food available at all times of day. The pools were cold but the sea was warm Our room was kept spotless and our cleaner who came from Indonesia was excellent. We went for two weeks from September 19 week one was excellent weather. Week two was very changeable. The staff work extremely hard and we appreciate this and thank them from the bottom of our hearts Till the next time letoonia
