Alesta Yacht Hotel

The view of the harbor from our room and the rooftop bar/restaurant was lovely and so relaxing after a long day of touring. The hotel is small and our room was an average size. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. We had a couple issues, but a maintenance man came to fix them immediately. The breakfast buffet was small and not particularly inviting. I just don't want hummus and salad for breakfast. Of course, there were eggs and cheese and a couple breads, but all-in-all it was meh. The bartenders were nice, though, and made good drinks!

I was really looking forward to my stay at Alesta Yacht Hotel in Fethiye, but unfortunately, I was scammed by one of their booking partners (Getaroom.com) and left out of pocket with no confirmed reservation.

I reached out directly to the hotel management in the hope they might support me with a goodwill gesture or a fair rate to resolve the situation. I truly wanted to experience the hotel’s hospitality, but the lack of flexibility left me disappointed.

Guests choose hotels not only for location and comfort but also for how management responds when things go wrong. I hope Alesta Yacht Hotel considers how situations like this impact its reputation and takes steps to support future guests more positively.

This hotel is on the coastal road only 5 minutes walk from Fethiye town which makes it such a good location in the winter months. Lovely views overlooking the yschts, sea and the mountains, and this time of the year i had clear blue skies and great views of the snow on the mountain tops. For us, fromEngland it was not cold and having temperatures of 18-21 degrees during the day was ideal when walking. The hotel offers a free valet service for parking and collecting your car. I had 4 nights there utilising the winter EasyJet Flights on a Tuesday and Saturday from London Gatwick. This was my first time staying at this hotel but i had checked it out when i was in Fethiye last October. Sadly not many hotels are open in the winter months, which is a real pity, although Easyjet planes are full with very good prices and at very good prices. I have no complaints about the hotel at all. I had a deluxe sea view room with balcony on the 3rd floor and it was spacious, and lovely views and very well fitted out. The breakfast each morning was very good with both hot and continental to choose from and with hot food requests such as omelettes etc cooked to order. All the staff from Reception, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Valeting were all very friendly, efficient and welcoming. The Hotel also has a Spa with Balinese therapists and offering both Turkish and Balinese treatments. Very good packages and prices. I would prefer though for the room to have a walk in shower as opposed to a shower within the bath, but that is just my personal choice. Sleep quality was very good. Aircon/ Heating very quiet and essy to work with setting the temperature required , and it is accurate. Obviously in the main holiday season March to November the Hotel has more facilities including their own private Beach. I had met the Owner last October and seen around the hotel and the room i requested was allocated to me, which was perfect. I would certainly use this hotel again, and after having one really good dinner in the evening at their restaurant where the quality and choice is excellent as is the service, would use that again as well. The steaks and fish with the salmon fillets just right and convenient as well.
