Hotel Cais da Oliveira features comfortable rooms, including studios, junior suites, and senior suites with separate bedrooms. Many rooms offer private balconies with sea views, and all are equipped with kitchenettes, bathrooms with either a shower or bathtub, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and optional safety deposit boxes.
Some images shown may feature the sister hotels, showcasing the full range of facilities and dining experiences available to Cais da Oliveira guests.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The Cais da Oliveira is structured on top of a cliff, making for exquisite views over the North Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing break and guests can also use the facilities at the neighbouring hotels Rocamar and Royal Orchid.
We had an amazing room it was like the penthouse suite Lovely sea views cleaned every day lovely pool
Part of the Rocomar complex. Our room was clean and adiquate size. Kitchinette was small, The pans were big enough to feed a family of 8. It would have benefitted from a small egg pan, a collinder, a grater, salt and pepper pots with some s&p in and filters for the coffee machine. Outdoor pools were chilly- but expected.
Spa looked like it had been refurbished not too long ago and was a nice touch. Large plunge pool which was not used much. Lots of steps on the complex. Be prepared.
Loads of sheltered sun bathing areas on the terraces. Terraces by Oliviera Apts in desperate need of refurbishment.
Main reception in the Royal Orchid and walkways were bare of pictures and very clinical.
These apartments are more like 2 star accommodation, don’t be fooled be their pics. The rooms are dirty, dated, damp and damaged. The kitchenette is ancient and the bathroom was dirty and had seen better days. The pillows were rancid and the rooms door looked like it had been broken into at some point. To top this off there was drilling in the room above.
Stayed in an apartment overlooking the pool and Atlantic ocean, fully fitted kitchen, comfortable bed and kept clean by a lovely team of cleaners.Recpetion staff always smiling and helpfull.I was on bed and breakfast, which was fantastic with s much choice, would go back to this hotel again in a heartbeat
We very much enjoyed our stay here. It’s part of a resort of three hotels that share the same facilities. We had two rooms both with a lovely sea view and balcony. The small kitchenette was basic and a tiny bit limited but ok for basic cooking. Only one room had a coffee machine. We only ate once in the main self-service restaurant which was enjoyable but slightly overpriced. We loved happy hour at the bar and also enjoyed the evening entertainment. All the staff were very helpful though the waiting time at reception could be long as there was generally only one person on the desk. We hired a car were able to park for free on the street outside the hotel and the hotel has a car park (€7.50/day). There are a few shops within walking distance. There are quite a few steps around the hotels though I think most areas are accessible by ramp or lift, but possibly not the pools.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
