Excellent, will be back
Very very friendly staff. I ended up losing my phone and they were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and uptodate. Loved the pool area and associated bar/ restaurant. Clean modern. Complimentary breakfast as well.

Amazing experience
Ines was amazing I forgot my ID last year while staying at the hotel. The most amazing thing about it is that they saved my Id until I came back this year. Vivian and Ines are the sweetest people on the first class service from first class ladies. Highly recommend you chose the hotel with the best staff in Porto Mao.
Chilled hotel
This hotel was great value for money. Clean, modern and comfortable.
Quite a small hotel and as I visited in June i thought it would be busy/ overcrowded (especially at breakfast and pool area) but this was not the case at all. Every day there were sun beds available. The only thing is , there’s not much shade around the pool and there wasn’t enough umbrellas.
It’s a very quiet hotel and has a very chilled vibe, however sometimes you can hear doors closing/muffled chatter from others but this was not extreme and this did not bother me.
Staff were friendly, and helpful.
Room has a mini fridge, great aircon and smart tv where you can watch h Netflix/disney etc.
The closest beach is a couple minutes walk and the main strip is around 10min walk. Very easy to get to and a nice walk along the coast.
I would definitely return here.
Outstanding hotel!
A beautiful hotel that provided the most amazing experience. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is right by the beach and within walking distance of the beautiful Portimão. They provided an itinerary during check-in, and it took us to the most amazing places that we would not have found! Highly recommend!

Rochavau Portimao - well worth a visit
Perfect location for me and the wife as we don’t want to be in the middle of the busy areas when on holiday. The hotel was only 10 minutes walk from the main area and beaches and only a few minutes walk to a couple of cliff top bars. They were also very good bars and restaurants literally next door on either side of the hotel with other restaurants higher up the same road, again only a few minutes walk. The atmosphere was good but a little quiet as apparently the season had not yet got going. The room was great although a little small and the placing of the mirror could have been better as the bed obstructed you standing in front of it. It was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The balcony is tiny so no chance of stretching out and sunbathing if that’s your thing but the noise level in the room is ok with the balcony door shut. The amenities are great with a selection of hot and cold food for breakfast, a nice size pool with loungers either end and a bar/restaurant alongside the pool. The room has a coffee maker and fridge with the water, coffees etc topped up daily. The staff were very helpful with suggestions on where to shop or to visit and also provide an excellent service where they book you a Bolt (Uber) to wherever you want to go. Once you are ready to return a what’s app message to reception gets your Bolt organised within minutes simply needing a pin to show where you are. The costs are then charged to your room which saves a bit of messing about.
We would highly recommend the hotel as its location is perfect if you want to stay close to the main area but a bit more peaceful, the staff are great and the hotel itself is of a very high standard.
The staff were all great but a big shout out Agnes in the bar, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about drinks, food and where to visit.
