A memorable stay
We stayed at NAU Morgado Golf & Country Club for our 10-year vow renewal celebration, together with our family and friends, and overall we had a wonderful experience. Our arrival didn't start exactly as planned. Some of our rooms were not ready at the agreed check-in time, and there was also a mix-up with one of the bed configurations. Naturally, this was disappointing, especially with such an important weekend ahead. However, what really impressed us was the way the hotel handled the situation. After contacting the hotel, we received a sincere apology almost immediately from both the sales team and the reception manager. They took our concerns seriously, communicated openly with us and made every effort to ensure that the remainder of our stay went smoothly. The following day, all of our guests were able to check in on time, every room had been carefully prepared according to our requests, and the reception team even helped us place the welcome gifts in each guest's room while we were away celebrating. To make up for the difficult start, the hotel surprised us with a beautiful welcome gesture in our room, including delicious local treats, a bottle of Port wine and a lovely romantic decoration on the bed with rose petals and a heart saying "10 Years of Love." It was such a thoughtful surprise and showed that they genuinely cared about making our special weekend memorable. Throughout our stay, every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and eager to help. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The hotel itself is peaceful and surrounded by stunning golf courses. The rooms are spacious, the swimming pools are lovely, and it is an ideal place to relax while still being within easy driving distance of the Algarve's beautiful beaches and towns. A special thank you to Carolina, Andreia, Diogo, Luis and the entire reception team for all their help before and during our stay. Organising a group event abroad can be stressful, but thanks to their dedication and professionalism, everything came together beautifully. We left with wonderful memories and would happily recommend NAU Morgado Golf & Country Club to anyone looking for a relaxing stay or a venue for a special celebration.

Poor reception
Asked to upgrade my summer special to one with a buggy because of an injury, and was told that would be 50 when the difference was 13, when I said that didn’t seem fair was told she could charge 55 instead, complete lack of empathy and realisation we have many alternatives

The perfect quite relaxing stay
The 4 out of 5 review. Myself and mt 78 year old farther took a 4 day golfing holiday at the Morgado. Positives Staff really friendly and helpful Golf Course good not perfect Room perfect Pool ice cold but nice and relaxing Food and drink perfect at a decent price. Do the 35eu evening buffet its outstanding. Organisation perfect
Negatives The distance from the room to the restaurant is a challenge with extremely uneven cobbled pathways, not good for ord bloke with bad knees
The hole place is very isolated with the nearest town a half hour taxi 30eu, Alvor was very nice.
No shop on site so you have to travel if you want to bring a trinket back.
When round your pool there is no bar or music but relaxing
Golf shop very poorly stocked and extremely expensive 12 euros for unbranded polo
Mossies eat you alive
Love this place but its for people who just want to play a slow!! round of golf and have a few beers with nice food and be in bed for 7

When i sat on the the balcony, som yellow liquid fell from a leak in the cieling. The liquid when all over my arm and leg. When I told the staff I needed napkins and someone to vlean it up, the told me I had to walk around to be able to get help. They barely cleaned. Moved the table so that my friend was under the leak and had me clean half of it. Offering zero apology
Great trip
I was super fun and I really enjoyed it with my friends. The driving range condition was really good. I would definitely recommend this place!!!!
