We had such an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
A huge thank you to David, Juliana, and Defence, who were all so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay.
Special thanks to Rashid and Elisha at the pool bar, where we spent so much of our time. Their creativity with the drinks was fantastic, and we always looked forward to our lovely conversations with them—they really made our days extra special.
Michael at the bar was also wonderful, always providing great service with a smile.
Joel from Guest Relations made booking our floating breakfast incredibly easy and hassle-free, and he was always available on WhatsApp, which was really convenient and much appreciated. He also arranged a cake for my husband’s birthday and made sure the room was decorated beautifully.
Salim kept us entertained with his brilliant jokes, and Kelvin provided excellent service at dinner.
The laundry service was reasonably priced and very convenient.
The food throughout our stay was excellent. We especially loved the freshly made late afternoon onion bhajis - they were absolutely delicious. A special mention also goes to the bacon / sausage man who was fantastic. He would even bring freshly cooked bacon straight to our table, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We also loved the beautiful beach - it was stunning and the perfect place to relax.
Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable and with the most beautiful honeymoon decorations. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing holiday
This place has stolen a piece of my heart. The friendliest, most helpful staff. They really go above and beyond for you every single day. The resort is very clean and the grounds workers never stop to keep the gardens pristine. It’s also in a great location for safari and other excursions. I will definitely come back again, I’m so sad to be leaving. Asante sana to all the staff at southern palms ❤️

Having travelled extensively around the world, my wife and I have stayed in countless hotels, from boutique properties to five-star luxury resorts. Southern Palms may not be the most lavish hotel we've experienced, but when it comes to genuine hospitality and customer service, it ranks among the very best. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful location on Diani Beach, with comfortable rooms, lovely grounds and an excellent atmosphere. However, what elevates this hotel from very good to truly exceptional is its people. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely happy to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no request seemed too difficult, and every interaction was met with a sincere smile. It's clear that customer satisfaction isn't just a slogan here—it's part of the hotel's culture. A very special thank you goes to James, the Food & Beverage Manager. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. His professionalism, attention to detail and genuine interest in his guests are a credit to Southern Palms, and he should be extremely proud of the team he leads. The dining experience deserves equal praise. The choice of food is outstanding, with an impressive variety that caters for virtually every taste. From international favourites to local dishes, the quality, freshness and presentation were consistently excellent. There was always something new to enjoy, and we never felt there was anything lacking. In an industry where luxurious facilities can often overshadow genuine hospitality, Southern Palms reminds you that it is people who create unforgettable holidays. The staff are undoubtedly the hotel's greatest asset, and they transformed what would have been a very good holiday into an exceptional one. To everyone at Southern Palms—thank you for your warmth, kindness and dedication. You made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we left.
