Good vacay, a little bit disappointment
The location is perfect for a beach hotel.
The beach extending from the hotel and the design of the hotel from the main dining area, through to the pool and to the beach is heaven. Well designed hotel, delivered with pure architectural precision and creativity.
The staff were a bit lax, we were not welcomed at the reception when we alighted the way a similar hotel would. It felt a bit awkward and probably an indicator of poor customer service.
The rooms and the hotel are generally clean and well done. The hallways and dining spaces are clean and tidy
The hotel needs to improve the signals of the Televisions in the rooms because they just do not work. The rooms also need new modern TVs.
The major departure point is their failure to provide soft water in the rooms for showering/taking a bath and general use for the guests. The water in the taps are hard and extremely salty water not good for use by people. You cannot take a proper bath or wash hands, face etc because of the saltiness of the water. Unless they provide soft water in their rooms, i am not coming back to this hotel again - Because i really suffered on this aspect and i have had to treat my body due to the effect of using extremely salty water.
Overall, its good hotel except for the hard, salty water in their rooms which makes the stay less enjoyable.
Best hotel ever
A fabulous hotel right on the beach. The rooms are chalet style and characteristically African. The food was to die for it was the best food I’ve ever had with so much assortment buffet style and on Saturday they had a Swahili breakfast which was scrumptious.

Better Than We Expected
We had a top experience at Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort. The location was beautiful and nearby to the Kongo River. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very clean and neat. The staff were exceptional, friendly and attentive. We especially enjoyed the nightly entertainment and leisure activities animated by James. Thank you for this experience!

Stunning
What a stunning resort! I loved every minute of being there. Walking from my room to the beach was amazing. The food was great too and varied. If I go back to Diani, that’s definitely where I’m staying
