Everything about this place is just perfect. From the staff being very friendly and accommodative. Even better for me was the fact that we made a mistake with our booking dates through the agent and there was a staff member, Mohammed who managed the whole situation very well and professionally for us and ensured that it never messed our short weekend stay there.
We even loved the fact that it is very family and child-friendly and so our trip with our little boy (less than 1 year) was not a hassle especially because the food was very much available for him and the staff were well understanding to offer anything we requested to have an easy time with him there.
Loved the fact that at the pool area they have also prohibited the use of personal speakers which have become a nuisance in most places which really controls the noise level in the pool areas.
The rooms and the location were just perfect for us and also loved how clean it was.
Definitely will be a place to go back because of the value received for my money's worth.

Wonderful stay
We stayed at this hotel twice — before our safari and again after returning from it — which gave us the opportunity to experience two quite different parts of the property. When we first arrived, we were accommodated in one of the older buildings near the children’s playground. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy there, so our first impression was not as positive as we had hoped. However, when we returned from our safari, we were given a room in the new part of the hotel, and the experience was completely different. There was a lovely adults-only pool nearby, excellent bars and a new restaurant. We really enjoyed this area and found it very comfortable and relaxing. Overall, we have very positive memories of the hotel. The staff deserve a special mention — everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming, and their excellent service contributed greatly to our experience. The food was delicious and varied. The only thing we missed was the opportunity to try more traditional Kenyan dishes. For example, we would have loved to try goat, which is an important part of traditional Kenyan cuisine. It would be great to see more authentic Kenyan dishes offered, perhaps as part of a themed dinner. Our experience of the beach was somewhat mixed. Since the beach is public, it is unfortunately difficult to simply leave the hotel and enjoy a peaceful walk along the ocean. You are frequently approached by local vendors and Maasai trying to sell something or engage you in conversation, which can become quite tiring when you simply want to relax. The strong tides also make swimming difficult at certain times of the day. We found the snorkeling in this area rather limited as well, especially compared with Zanzibar. Despite these points, they did not spoil our overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Kenya and Diani Beach, particularly those looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay before or after a safari. Highly recommend Baobab
Totally enjoyed our stay. From check in with mohammed ro service at the restaurant by Safari. Everything was 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10, kole kole rooms 10/10. Thank you Baobab team.
I'd go back there
The whole resort was good. Internet was a little poor in the rooms. The thing that spoilt it for us all was being pestered all the time on the beach by the men trying to sell things all the time other than that it was really good Lovely people friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great pools and bars Rooms were great to.
