The Perfect Beach Getaway
Baobab Beach Resort & Spa exceeded every expectation and gave us an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality that made us feel right at home. The resort is absolutely breathtaking, with beautifully maintained gardens, stunning ocean views, pristine pools, and direct access to the spectacular white sands of Diani Beach. Every corner of the property is peaceful, clean, and designed to help you relax. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The food was exceptional, with an impressive variety of delicious meals that catered to every taste. There were lots of entertainment which ensured there was never a dull moment. What truly sets Baobab Beach Resort & Spa apart is its incredible staff. Every team member went above and beyond with warm smiles, professionalism, and genuine care, making our stay feel truly special. If you're looking for the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Kenyan hospitality, I cannot recommend Baobab Beach Resort & Spa highly enough. It is truly a little slice of paradise, and I can't wait to return. Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime!

"Our stay at Baobab was an absolutely beautiful experience and honestly the best time of our life, starting with an easy check-in where Muhamed was so welcoming and explained everything perfectly. The food was delicious with a huge variety to choose from, and the restaurant staff were incredibly patient, especially Jemmimah who gave us such wonderful, attentive service. The kids loved the daily activities and the infinity pool, while Namour at the bar took amazing care of us as a super patient, knowledgeable bartender. Our rooms were clean and safe, making the easy check-out feel completely worth the money, and we are definitely coming back with our friends and extended family. The only tiny drawback was the beach boys heckling us right by the property—having stayed down the street where they aren't allowed near the hotel, I think Baobab should consider creating a boundary away from the beach access—but it didn't mess up our holiday at all.
An awesome resort that we would highly recommend.
The rooms are spectacular, the pool is beautiful, the food is exceptional, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.
The only downside, and something I would strongly encourage the hotel to address, was the presence of the Maasai sellers on site. While I appreciate they are there to sell their products, we found their approach to be far too persistent. Even when walking past with my husband, we were repeatedly approached, which made us reluctant to browse at all.
More concerning, however, was that when I was walking past with my two teenage daughters without my husband, some of the sellers made inappropriate and lewd comments towards us. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and is not something any guest should experience while staying at a resort of this standard.
We also didn't get to fully enjoy the beach because of similarly persistent approaches from sellers. I appreciate that the beach is public and outside the hotel's control, so I don't hold the hotel responsible for that. However, the sellers who are invited onto the hotel grounds are within the hotel's control, and I believe the hotel should ensure they behave respectfully and do not harass guests.
Aside from this issue, our stay was fantastic. It's a wonderful resort in a beautiful setting, and with this one aspect addressed, it would be close to perfect.

It was good enjoyed food was good but the welcoming drink could be better service was amazing overall enjoyment 10/10
