The Local Area
This elegant resort hotel has a spectacular location overlooking Wolmar Beach near Flic-en-Flac on the western side of the island. The white sand stands out in sharp contrast to the sparkling clear blue waters of the lagoon and the deeper blue of Le Morne Mountain in the background. Built in typical cool airy Mauritian style, the resort stands in beautifully landscaped gardens with thatch roofed open sided restaurant and bar overlooking the large pool and the beach beyond.

Great and very friendly especially the two ladies making eggs at breakfast Gino the wine guy exceptional TV was a disaster had to call reception a few times to get it to work at night
Honeymoon in Paradise
We had a fantastic stay at Sands Suites and the staff really made that possible. Vick and Logan at the bar helped us celebrate every evening and enjoy all the local rums. The room was spacious with a great view and the food from the buffet was incredible. The hotel is well located to explore nearby towns and attractions and you get use of the facilities at the sister hotel next door. Would highly recommend for couples looking for a relaxing stay in Mauritius

An unforgettable wedding experience ❤️
We have just spent two amazing weeks at Sands Resorts & Spa, and this was our second stay at this beautiful hotel. This time was incredibly special because we chose Sands as the place for our wedding — and the experience was even better than we could ever have imagined.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome and special. The food is incredible, the hotel is beautiful, and every member of staff looked after us throughout our entire stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Our wedding was absolutely magical. The hotel did everything they could to make our day perfect, and we genuinely felt that every little detail was taken care of. We were able to relax and enjoy our special day because we knew we were in the best hands.
A very special thank you to Gloria, who looked after all our wedding arrangements. She was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. She organised everything for us, was always available when we needed her and made sure everything went perfectly. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
The whole wedding team went above and beyond, and the result was a beautiful and unforgettable experience that we will treasure forever.
We highly recommend Sands Resorts & Spa, especially for anyone considering a wedding in Mauritius. We couldn’t be happier that we chose this hotel.

Wonderful stay
We spent two weeks in September 2026 at Sands Suites Resort & Spa and enjoyed every single moment of it. Everything was simply perfect.
The staff deserve a special mention. Every single one of them was incredibly friendly and attentive. A big thank you to Namrata, who always took wonderful care of us and made our stay so much nicer with her warm and friendly manner.
The food was another highlight. The buffet was varied, fresh and really delicious, with something new to discover every day.
All in all, this was one of the most beautiful trips we have ever taken.

From the beginning we felt very comfortable. The reception and the welcome were warm and attentive. We felt welcome. This continued on the following days. The entire staff (from room service, at the bar, the pool, the restaurants) was always very courteous and helpful. An all-round great holiday. We can recommend the resort without reservation and would love to come back in the future. Particularly noteworthy are the spa and the Pink Peppercorn Restaurant.
