Lovely time in Hoi An
We came during the rainy off-season to take advantage of off-season pricing and fewer crowds. The hotel is right on the beach and our kids spent every day in the huge pool despite intermittent rain showers. Proximity to Hoi An ancient town was a key advantage, and we thoroughly explored this gorgeous, historical city.
Special shout out to Tanya at the concierge desk who recommended many enjoyable activities for whole family. In just a few days we experienced many once in a lifetime local experiences. Highly recommend the Village Tour on bicycle, and basket boat ride through the coconut forest. And the food was amazing-–thanks, Sang!
A wonderful place to stay
Fabulous place to stay with truly amazing staff. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful. The pho at the buffet breakfast was sensational along with everything else on offer. So many people helped us out, but special mentions to Hannah, Linh, Hieu and Vu.
The location was great to be a little out of the central part of where all the action takes place. But there are places very close by. To get a Grab (like Uber) into town was quick, easy and low cost, but the free scheduled shuttle buses were brilliant for getting in and out of Hoi An.

Great pool villas and amazing breakfast
We had a 3 bedroom villa with a pool for 5 nights in early October. The service was outstanding, a particular shout out for Hannah. We loved having the space of a huge house and our own pool. The buffet breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have ever had. A huge range of options and all delicious. We had the package with lunch or dinner included also and the food was tasty. The only downsides for us were the location was quite far from town but there is a shuttle and when we used a Grab one was always available within a few minutes. There are some maintenance issues in the villa that need to be addressed and Marriott should really be more on top of things like that such as missing pool tiles, the lounge suite and dining chairs need a really good clean. We had laundry included in our package and I rang reception to confirm that but was not informed it was limited to 6 items per day, so we had quite a laundry bill at the end as had sent a full bag each day! But overall it was a great experience, excellent value for money and we would return.

Family getaway - exploring Hoi An.
We had a wonderful family stay at Renaissance Hoi An Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and always available to help, making us feel comfortable and well looked after.
Our villa was perfect for our family of five, giving us a perfect space to wind down and relax after spending the day exploring Hoi An. The pool with beach views was brilliant, there was plenty of entertainment for the kids on the rainy days. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing getaway.
