Gem Riverside Hotel Hoi An is a new hotel with river view, near Hoi An ancient town, 600 meters = just 5 minutes walk over Cam Nam bridge, We have 58 rooms & suites with 13 family rooms & 6 connecting rooms for family or group of friends. All rooms have private bathroom with bathtub or shower, daily housekeeping, 24/24 reception. We also have outdoor swimming pool, insite spa, fitness center, business center & lovely restaurant by the pool. Specially our Cozy Rooms have open-air bathroom, so you can take a bath & take a sunbathe as the same time, enjoy the fresh air from green garden behind our hotel to get more energy for a new day & really feel relaxed during your stay at our hotel.

The Riverside Gem is in fact a gem on the quiet side of magical Hoi An
Hoi An is such a gem. The city of lanterns and silk. Oh my. It is busy and has definitely been discovered but there are good reasons why. I love that the old town closes it's roads to vehicles in the evenings so it's just pedestrians and cyclist. It's also smart because there are a lot of tourists, including us.
Our home base was the Riverside Gem hotel, on an island and walking distance to Hoi An proper and the old town. The staff was wonderful, friendly, accommodating, especially Ruby, who made our stay special. The restaurant food was good, the pool delightful and the grounds well tended
Being off from the busy Hoi An, it was quiet, which is always a big plus for me and half the price.
Highly recommend and hope to return soon!
A Gem
This family managed hotel is a gem. Everyone was eager to please and made sure we were happy and comfortable. It is a 10-15 walk, or 5min taxi ride from the Hoi An market and center of all tourist stuff. Perfect location, especially if you are someone who seeks downtime from the hustle and bustle. DaNang is under an hour away if you're looking for a day trip to "the city" or a tour of other sites such as Marble Mountain -- and you must go!

Friendly og Flexible service. Limited but very good breakfast buffet. Short walk to the center. Peaceful and relaxing.

3 star hotel poor buffet breakfast. No chef in hotel.
This is not a 4 star hotel. It is 3 star hotel with skeleton of staffs working. I booked from 21st Jan 2026 to 28th Jan 2026. I booked Junior suite. I was given a package and hotel did not honour the package. This hotel do not have a proper kitchen or Chef. Daily buffet breakfast was so poor and repeated for 8 days. I forgot about my package and the receptionist did not brief me package. Despite, when I told 3 days fir checkout. The receptionist pretended not to know anything. The corridor lights works on sensor at night and safety was compromised to save electricity. I stayed in room 402. The water heater was hot for 5 mins and it becomes cold. Reported and the issues were not rectified. The hotel is not facing river. It is a small river with facing a residential housing. I have records of booking.

One of the best hotels in Hoi An
We stayed here as part of a 3-week tour of Vietnam. We have been at many hotels on the trip. This one is one of the best. Staying here feels like we are part of the family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is plentiful and presented ta beautifully. The fruits, pastries, breads, etc, are fresh and flavorful. The egg station chef did a great job with the custom orders. The staff is fabulous. They are responsive, friendly and eager to accommodate our every need. The pool is clean and large for those who want to swim laps. The location is away from the noise but an easy walk to shopping and the Unesco sites.
