Nestled on the banks of Hoai River, overlooking the Hoi An Ancient Town, Bay Resort Hoi An is a peaceful retreat offering an enchanting experience. With 128 charming rooms, suites and villas, the resort tells a delightful story through our culinary experiences offered at its Mediterranean restaurant and pool bar. From reflexology and unique body treatments to amazing traditional massages, a visit to the resort's Breathe Spa will leave you with a profound sense of well-being— one that takes hold deep in your soul. Bay Resort Hoi An is built to become a center for discovering local wonderment and intrigue, and perhaps, guests can add on their own tales from their stay, and in a way, gain memories and stories of a lifetime. Bay Resort Hoi An will be a train full of memories taking you back to the prime era of the historic port town of Hoi An.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Moire Hoi An is a phenomenal retreat that ticks every single box. Its perfect central location makes it easy to explore the town, but borrowing their bicycles to ride around was easily one of the most fun and memorable highlights of our stay. The property itself features a stunning pool and breathtaking views, offering a peaceful, quiet sanctuary just moments away from the bustling historic center. To top it all off, the dining was truly unforgettable, the food was simply exceptional across the board. A wonderful, elegant boutique experience we will cherish!
First of all, it's a nice property in a great location, and you can easily walk to the Old Town. However, check in took much longer than expected, and the restaurant seemed understaffed, so the staff struggled to keep up with the guests. The drink prices were also insane. They were around two to three times higher than at other nearby resorts, but the quality and experience didn't match the premium price. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience.
Not sure why such critical reviews by some people. Beautiful hotel. Food was delicious. Our room was perfect with big shower and tub. Perfect view of the river and seeing the lanterns at night. Amazing and friendly staff. Great with kids. A very quick boat ride away from ancient Hoi An. You can take a tour ride as well. The pool and pool bar was fabulous. Will definitely be back.
Searching for luxury stays in Hoi An, the Moire hotel came up at the top and I can completely verify its place as the nicest place to stay in the Ancient Town.
The Hotel: Situated beside the river and facing the ancient town, the hotel blends into the scenery of the old buildings and the surrounding area. It’s a short walk across the bridge to the heritage area and Hoi An’s magnificent streets of food and shops. The reception is modest but welcoming and the winding walkways that interconnect all of the rooms is charming.
The room: We booked a Deluxe River View room and I would highly recommend this is the best choice. Spacious yet modern in appearance, we had all the comforts that we needed to rest, relax and sleep well. There’s plenty of space to move around and store things and no chance of tripping over your loved one. Top marks go to the awesome bathroom with double sinks, a separate shower and a bath. But the highest score goes to the hooks for hanging towels as most hotels don’t provide this.
The river side rooms are peaceful and we found the gently sound of boats going past very charming. Both of us slept very well.
The facilities: We made use of the clean and fairly well equipped gym next to the pool. It was enough to cater for a wide range of workouts but if there’s more than 4 people it might get a bit cramped.
The restaurant was good in size and even arriving during the peak hours there was enough room for everyone. The food was very good quality and we were both loving the selection of fruits, bread and dairy.
The staff were all helpful and very nice, proving recommendations during our visit. Overall, I’m glad I chose the Moire as it ticked all the boxes of being a highly comfortable, relaxing stay in the beautiful location.
This hotel is truly beautiful, both in its exterior and interior design. The rooms are modern, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The staff members are friendly and highly attentive. The location is excellent, providing easy access to numerous wonderful restaurants and shops.
