Voco Ma Belle Danang

We had a lovely stay! The hotel feels quite new - it’s on the main drag across from My Khe Beach with views out to the Lady Buddha. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, very comfy bedding. But the main attraction especially given all the choices one has along this stretch in Da Nang is the excellent breakfast buffet. The spread is absolutely fantastic, the servers are hustling to ensure everyone has what they need, and the dishes are varied, well-executed and different each day. Really wonderful! Chef comes out after every service to greet guests and ensure everyone is happy. We were duly impressed! So the breakfast really does take this hotel up several notches above other similar hotels.

There’s also a great rooftop lounge / bar / restaurant adjacent to the rooftop infinity pool. The rooftop has unobstructed views to Lady Buddha and the beach on one side and city views on the other. Great place to hang out in the evening for food and drinks or just enjoy the views and chill.

The hotel itself is on the main drag across the beach but also easy walking distance to many cafes and local spots so one can simply walk outside and around the corner.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel, at a good location, with excellent service. I am glad we chose this for our stay in Da Nang.

What was good:

• The location is central for Da Nang. Short walk or Grab ride to most places of interest.
• Rooms and the rest of the hotel were spotless.
• It has a party-vibe, but not too much - so it is suitable for all kinds of travellers. Lot's of families staying here with small kids too.
• The view from the roof-top bar & pool is amazing
• Noise level not too bad. Other reviewers have complained about noise. We had no major issues (staying on 20th floor though). There was a small amount of noise from the street (at night) and from the beach (in the day only). Also a tiny amount of noise from the corridors. It was not a bother at all. I slept like a baby.
• Breakfast buffet is vast, with plenty of vegetarian options (vegetable Sushi, Indian dishes, and much more).
• Service has been excellent

What could be improved:

• Nothing as such. It was a comfortable stay.

Some points to note:

• If you are looking for a hotel on the beach, then this one may disappoint a little. It is close to the beach, with a sea view. But there is a large road and a beach club to cross before you reach the sand.
• The sea view rooms are great - but it gets too hot to sit on the Balcony in direct sunlight. The city view is also a good option - Danang looks beautiful by night.

Overall we had a good time, and would highly recommend this hotel.

It was a delight staying at this beautiful hotel overlooking the Danang coastline. We enjoyed the rooftop bar/restaurant and pool. Happy hour from the 26th floor is perfect. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Thank you to Elsie and the lovely staff who looked after us. Also thank you to Henry at the concierge desk for making sure we had the right address for Grab. Loved our stay.
