Stella Maris Beach Hotel is a shining star—a calm oasis—and one of its greatest strengths is its location, location, location.

Situated directly across the street from My Khe Beach, just 15 minutes from the airport, it’s in the heart of Da Nang and close to everything the city has to offer.

One of the best parts of staying here is waking up early and joining the Vietnamese along the shoreline as they greet the new day. Every morning you’ll see people swimming, exercising, practicing yoga and tai chi, running, dancing, burying themselves in the sand, and—of course—taking selfies as the sun rises over the ocean. As an early riser, this became one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam. It’s a beautiful celebration of wellness, community, nature, and the beginning of a new day.

The hotel itself is outstanding, with beautiful rooms, excellent food, a rooftop pool overlooking the city, and a staff that genuinely cares about their guests.

A special thank you to Tracie, the General Manager, who leads an exceptional team. Throughout my stay, Mimi, Daisy, and Linh at the front desk were always warm, professional, and happy to help with every request, big or small.

The spa deserves special recognition. I had four treatments during my four-day stay, all with Hien, who is truly a master of massage and assisted stretching. As a yoga teacher, I rarely have the opportunity for someone to stretch my body so skillfully. It was one of the best treatments I’ve ever experienced and easily one of the highlights of my trip.

Breakfast each morning was another highlight—a wonderful selection of fresh foods, strong Vietnamese coffee, and beautiful views. Nora made every morning even better by greeting me with a smile and making sure my coffee cup never stayed empty. Thank you for keeping my caffeine levels exactly where they needed to be!

The rooftop is another great feature, with a beautiful pool, fitness center, and bar overlooking the city. Jan at the rooftop bar was always welcoming, offering a kind word, a warm smile, an extra towel, and excellent service with food and drinks.

My room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge comfortable bed, plenty of room to relax, and a bathtub with an incredible view.

From beginning to end, my stay at Stella Maris was truly stellar. Every member of the staff made me feel welcome, cared for, and at home.

If you’re looking for a beautiful hotel in Da Nang that’s steps from the beach, centrally located, comfortable, and staffed by genuinely wonderful people, I cannot recommend Stella Maris Beach Hotel highly enough.

It has become one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world, and I look forward to returning.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful throughout our visit. When we arrived and were waiting to check in, the hotel provided food and drinks, which made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of. It was a really nice first impression. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Vietnam.
