Phuoc my an beach hotel
Well the hotel goes out of the way to make your stay enjoyable. I would like to thank Hai Doung in guest relations for making our holiday and the pleasant chef at breakfast cooking the omelettes. Pool only let down as only gets few hours in the sun a day however beach two minutes walk

Top notch service!
The service was truly topnotch! We were celebrating my son's birthday and Miss Lau ordered a 9" cake from a bakery complete with candles. Then the staff sang and presented the cake to my son. He was super happy.
We had arrived a car service but it took us over an hour to get through customs that our driver had left so we had to get a taxi.When we got to the hotel, they apologized immediately and compensated us with fruit in our room.
The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. We were there multiple days and there was a change in the food variation enough for us to not get bored.

Phuoc My An Beach Hotel - November 2019 - New & Good
Hotels in Vietnam don't weather well. Either from the climate, or poor initial construction, or poor preventive maintenance - it's better to choose a relatively new hotel.
The Phuoc My An Beach Hotel was new when we stayed, everything worked, and everything was in good condition. Anything we needed was quickly dealt with.
We stayed in one of the larger split-level rooms facing the front of the hotel with a large balcony. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and well laid-out. The bathroom was large and great with a separate tub and shower.
People can make or break a travel experience, and the staff here were great. Accommodating and helpful.
The hotel is located one block from a good part of My Khe beach. The view from the room is unobstructed for now, but not overlooking a very nice building site. The view will be lost as the area is built up. The hotel pool is nice and well kept, towels are provided poolside.
A stand-out at this hotel is the excellent breakfast and the accommodating hostess. Great selection of Asian and 'westernish' choices, fresh omelettes etc. After a few weeks of travelling in the region I was needing a bit of comfort food. I asked the restaurant if they could do some pasta for me they went out of their way to accommodate. The result was this amazing dish in the photo. Well done.
All in all an excellent stay with good value.

Avoid like the plague, scam operation DO NOT BOOK
Do not book to stay here. They are currently running a scam where they list their hotel on all major websites during busy periods and then the hotel staff give a myriad of fake excuses why the hotel cannot facilitate your booking. Among the causes given to us (in order as we began to escalate the issue)
-the hotel is under renovation and not open yet (something which became quite obviously not true as people checked out while we stood there, prompting a new lie)
-the hotel is currently under the ownership of the vietnamese ministry of defense and cannot be booked (seeing as we saw small children running around, I don't think they have officers that young)
-the ex-owner is a scam artist who places their hotel online to trick tourists, they have rang the police but the police do nothing (they have a review from 4 days ago on google, seems awful convenient)
And so on and so forth. The reception staff this entire time mostly sat on tiktok and took selfish, the manager a gruff looking man in a shirt came down but would only talk to them and not to us. At no point did we raise our voice or shout (we are not those kinds of people) but he still said he did not want to talk to us. Please Do avoid

Enjoyed my stay here. The room is spacious and clean. The aupplies were replenished daily. The breakfast buffet has limited options. They have the same menu everyday but it was ok. The food is Da Nang is not so salty or sweet. It was OK because its healthier this way. Lol Definitely recommended.
