HAIAN Beach Hotel and Spa

We were reluctant to choose a local brand, when there are so many international hotel brands in the city, but we are very happy to have stayed at the Haian Beach Hotel and Spa.

Check In was quick and simple, and there were always staff members in the lobby to help out. Breakfast every day was super, and even during busy periods the staff kept the buffet filled with all the fresh fruits and pastries.

The rooftop pool and bar area were great, and never too busy. One of us uses the spa for a massage, and it was great service and value for money.

The hotel is just across the road from the beach, with many safe swimming zones marked clearly close by. There are also many beach clubs within a five minute walk.

Like many areas of the city, there is some construction going on locally, however we were accommodated with a new room when some noise disturbed us.

🌟 Haian Beach Hotel & Spa — A Stay I’ll Never Forget.

From the moment my car pulled up to Haian Beach Hotel & Spa, I felt genuinely cared for. Before I even stepped inside, the staff set the tone: they came straight to the Grab car, lifted my bags out for me, and insisted I didn’t carry a thing. That level of hospitality continued through every moment of my stay.

At check‑in, the front desk manager personally welcomed me. She was beautiful (to me) warm, professional, and attentive — and when I complimented her before leaving, she blushed in the sweetest way. She apologized for the construction next door, offered coupons without me asking, and even rushed the cleaning of my suite so I could check in early, despite arriving before the official time.

The suite itself was stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a view that made me pause every time I looked out the window. Fresh fruit was waiting for me at check‑in — and again at check‑out — a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel personal.

Every staff member I encountered was exceptional. Every single one! They were all friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests feel comfortable.

The in‑house restaurant was a standout. It offered authentic Vietnamese dishes representing the North, Central, and South — all beautifully prepared. And the complimentary breakfast? Massive. Morning pho, hot dishes, cold dishes, vegetarian options, desserts, fresh fruit, juices, teas, and strong Vietnamese coffee. It was consistently impressive.The tea counter in the lobby was convenient and cozy. The rooftop bar and lounge had great energy and views.

The pool was refreshing. And the beach is literally right across the street — a short, easy walk.

One side note: the beer lounge across the street still uses the hotel’s Wi‑Fi, but the service there didn’t make me feel welcome. As a Black traveler, I noticed the waiter was attentive to others but ignored me for a long time. When I mentioned it, he dismissed it as me needing to ask for help — even though no one else had to. I don’t know whether that bar is affiliated with the hotel, but it was the only moment during my trip that felt off.

Leaving Haian Beach Hotel & Spa honestly made me sad. It’s rare to find a place where the hospitality feels this genuine, the food this good, and the experience this consistently excellent. I would return without hesitation. I even told the desk manager thatcI would return, and I will. 5 stars! <--Easy.
