Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable with friendly service. In a great location, just steps to the beach, and walkable to many stores and restaurants in the area. Includes a great spa, roof-top restaurant and bar. Would recommend.

I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Shortly after seeing my room, I communicated to the hotel that I was unhappy with it and wanted to leave. The room's window faced directly toward a wall/building extremely close by, with another window directly across from mine. I could see into the space opposite, which meant there was essentially no privacy unless I kept my curtains closed. I did not travel to Da Nang to spend several days in a hotel room where I felt like I had to keep the curtains shut. To the hotel's credit, the staff were polite and showed me one alternative room after I raised my concerns. Unfortunately, that room did not resolve my concerns with the property, and I had already communicated that I preferred to leave. Hotel staff placed my luggage in the room, but after seeing the room and raising my concerns, I spent most of my time outside the hotel looking at other hotels because I was actively trying to find somewhere else to stay. I only briefly went in and out of the room. This was not a situation where I settled into the hotel, enjoyed the room for the day, and then suddenly changed my mind. When I returned that evening, there was also extremely loud karaoke outside. At around 9 PM, I could hear the singing word for word from inside my room even with the windows closed. The noise was significant enough that I offered to have a hotel staff member come into the room and hear the volume for themselves. There was also cigarette smoke around the entrance/common area that was bothering my asthma, which made it difficult for me to comfortably sit there as an alternative to being in the room. What frustrates me most is that I communicated early that I did not like the room and wanted to leave. Rather than spending my first day in Da Nang enjoying the hotel I had paid for, I spent much of it visiting other hotels trying to find somewhere I would actually feel comfortable staying. I do want to distinguish the staff from my experience with the property itself. The staff members I interacted with were courteous and attempted to help. However, courteous staff cannot overcome the fundamental issues I experienced with the room and environment. Between the lack of privacy, the extremely close wall/building outside my window, the loud karaoke clearly audible inside the room, and the cigarette smoke, I simply did not feel comfortable continuing my stay. I booked and paid for four nights, but after raising these concerns from the beginning and barely using the room while searching for alternative accommodation, I requested to leave and receive a full refund.
