Great location and super friendly staff, but it really needs an upgrade. The rooms were clean, but dated decor and basic amenities made it an uneventful stay, but at least it mean I wanted to get out and explore all day and spend as little time there as possible! Staff were lovely, and with some investment this could be a great hotel. I wouldn’t stay again as it is in its current state.
Booked this the day before we went Room 1A one bedroom bungalow pool access for three days . There is a hob and sink in the living room but no pans or crockery so not self catering . It was lovely , comfortable lounge . Furniture dated but adequate . Only negative was the bed it was hard . Photos on the website must be when the hotel was at its prime . Now it’s still got a rustic charm to it . A neighbour described it as a 1970 American motel vibe and I’d agree . Pools lovely and to have our own sunbeds and pool straight from the room was fab . We actually booked two additional nights we loved it so much . Location excellent all bars restaurants literally across the road . Staff were wonderful and you get your pool towels from reception
Alful place. Not repaired since many years. The rest room smell like dead body. The aircon was broken and we wait 2 days to staff to remove the problem. The STAFF at the reception dobt speak ENGLISH but more they are very unpolite. The pool is not clean since weeks and there is a lot of rats in the garden. The location is good but the management of this hotel is terrible and they dont have any idea about tourist business.
Yes it is an old resort and some of the rooms are dated but it is very clean great staff with good English speaking at check in and helpful. We booked the pool view cabin and it was very convenient. The beds were comfortable not hard. It is a budget resort so don’t expect 5 star. The location is spot on in the middle of all the beach restaurants and bars but still very quiet
The booking pictures used by Booking.com were misleading. What we thought we booked and paid for we didn’t get. The resort was preferential to Russian guests, who proceeded to play their music over speakers at all hours of the morning, take over the pools and lounges. The rooms were old, dilapidated, run down, no opening windows in any room, no ceiling fans, so if u wanted air you had to leave the door open which then allows millions of mozzies into the room, or run the dilapidated dirty noisy air conditioner that didn’t work properly. Now, I understand this is Thailand, and things are different, I’ve travelled the world and slept in some pretty average places, but they were advertised as average. The 4 star rating this place has is to be ignored There was mould in the bathroom, a single chair, no table, no drawer space. There was a functioning fridge and jug. The bed should’ve been thrown out in the last decade, all the springs had collapsed and it was horrific. The linen & towels were sparse, threadbare, and stained though at least they were washed. The best thing about this “place” was the location. No service available. Absolutely NO RESORT FACILITIES AT ALL. This place deserves less than 1 star.
