Patong Beach Lively Stay With Amazing Rooftop Views
I had a solid stay here overall. If you're looking for a spot with a lot of energy, this definitely fits the bill. The standout for me was the rooftop pool area with views over Patong, and the vibe up there is can be pretty lively during the day and well into the night. There's a restaurant right by the pool, and the servers who come around are super attentive, which made lounging up there effortless.
It’s easy to stay in the loop with what’s going on, too. They always have various specials and activities happening across the property, and they make it easy to find that info right on the room TV, which was a convenient touch.
That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of depending on what you’re looking for. First, the beds were a bit on the hard side for my taste. If you’re picky about your mattress, it’s definitely something to note. Also, the location is very close to the heart of the action so you will absolutely hear noise well into the night. It is a night-and-day difference compared to a quiet resort, so if total peace and quiet is your main goal, this might not be the spot for you.
For the fitness side of things, the on-site gym is pretty standard for a hotel. You’ve got a few cardio machines, some resistance machines, and dumbbells which is just enough to get the job done and stay active while you're away.
One major highlight was the spa right next door (Siladon Spa). It’s excellent and honestly really inexpensive. I grabbed a deep tissue massage there, and the therapist was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I walked out of there feeling completely loose and relaxed. Do note this is an independent spa.
As a pro-tip for anyone booking: this location is about a 10-15 minute walk from Bangla Road. It’s close enough to easily walk to the heavy nightlife, but just far enough away that you aren't trapped right on top of the loudest streets. Also, if you want a quiet morning swim, hit the rooftop pool early before the mid-day crowd starts utilizing it for the drinks and social atmosphere.
Overall, if you’re looking to be within walking distance to the wild Patong action but not too close, this is for you. It’s a great stay well worth the price.
