Lying in a superb setting at the quiet end of Patong Beach the beach hotel Seaview Patong is just 3 metres from the stunning pristine beach. Numerous shopping venues and nightlife can be found within walking distance of the hotel, Phuket town is just 25 minutes away and Phuket International Airport is a 45 minute journey from the hotel.With its stunning traditional style décor and breath-taking views over Patong Bay and the sea, guests experience the ultimate in relaxation and serenity. Ideal for couples and families alike, the hotel offers a range of exceptional facilities and services. The guest's dining needs are catered to in the hotels 3 a la carte restaurants which serve a host of delightful options to cater to every taste. There is also a pool, a playground in the garden for the little ones and a Spa where the grown-ups can relax and be pampered.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked via Agoda.com for a hotel stay in Phiket and the seaview hotel in Patong Beach,this hotel photos is very misleading and our Stat was nothing but unpleasant,the toilet overflows onto floor staff and manager unhelpful,sliding door does not lock so security is compromised, there is power put outlets and the light switch inside the bathroom, donr think this is according to regulations,I have videos and think that this is just pathetic tht this toilet is always clogged and is a health risk,the manager informed me we should not use toilet paper...so how does he expect us to use the toilet,if it was not a busy period I would have left this pathetic hotel but because there is no alternative accommodation I was forced to stay here.
❌❌❌ AVOID!!! ❌❌❌ Checked in to the room. Greated by a dehumidifier, mould on the mattress & protector. Pillows & bed was stained Half the bed was subsided. Air con was broken. Checked out after having lunch. More like a European 2⭐ hotel
Lovely hotel to stay in. I asked for a room close to the pool and the resteraunt and they gave me just that. The beds are comfy and the room is spacious with a bath and overhead shower, wardrobe and shelves. We went all inclusive and this is the best all inclusive we have experienced. Breakfast is a buffet but lunch and dinner is ordered from the menu. This includes all top shelf alcohol and all cocktails. Only downside was the all inclusive endscat 11am on check out and we weren't advised of this. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Nanda makes the most perfect coconut coolers. The hotel is dated but is very clean with sheets and towels changed daily. There are 3 pools. A small river type shallow pool, a main pool with fountains and a circular pool with a jacuzzi in the middle. Pool areas were kept clean.
The only thing I didn't like was the hotel asks for a 3000bht cash deposit (you can pay this in your own currency) as they do not take card. This is not on the website that I could find. Orher than that it is a great hotel that does what it says.
Just right at the quiet end away from the mad house
We recently traveled to Thailand and stayed at Seaview Patong Hotel, and it turned into one of the most horrible and careless hotel experiences we have ever had.
During breakfast at the hotel restaurant, my wife found a piece of glass inside the bread she was eating. The glass actually cut her tongue and she started bleeding. This was a serious safety issue and could have been even worse. Instead of treating it as a medical emergency, the hotel staff showed complete negligence. When we informed them immediately, they were not concerned at all and simply kept repeating “sorry, sorry” without taking any proper action or showing any urgency.
Later, when we escalated the issue and demanded accountability and a refund, the hotel manager came to our room and unbelievably offered us coupons for a free lunch or dinner. This response was absolutely shameless and insulting. After finding glass in the food, how could anyone possibly trust the same kitchen again?
To make matters worse, we also raised a complaint with MakeMyTrip regarding this serious incident, but they have been equally irresponsible. They closed our complaint ticket without even consulting us or resolving the issue.
This incident clearly shows the poor safety standards of the hotel and the extremely unprofessional handling of customer complaints by both the hotel and MakeMyTrip. A piece of glass in food is not a small mistake — it is a serious health hazard. The lack of responsibility and concern from both parties is shocking and unacceptable.
