Perfect place to stay in Patong
Just recently returned from my third stay at Graceland resort in Patong. It truely is the perfect hotel for us! Close to shopping, massages, shopping centres and the famous Bangla road. The staff are all so lovely at the resort. I really enjoyed chatting with and getting to know them all especially chatting to the chef who made me a fresh omelette daily. I also enjoyed daily fresh coconut which are sourced from near Bangkok for the perfect sweetness. The rooms are clean and large with cable tv and many channels. The concierge will organise any taxi to travel where you want to go. Love the swim up bars and beautiful pool and surrounds right across the road from the beach. Water aerobics is fun and the sunset restaurant was lovely, had a great breeze from the ocean and delish thai dishes. Also love the breakfast buffet. We will be back next year!

Hotel needs a good clean up
We are still here at the minute but fly home tomorrow thank goodness, we book all inclusive with Tui and it’s not a an all inclusive hotel, you get given the cheap menus to choose from, if you want anything different you have to pay extra.
The food is awful, not much choice, we noticed that the food looked like it had been saved from the night before, no wonder we all had bad stomachs.
The rooms are nice but around the hotel needs a good clean and a tidy up.
Some of the staff are pleasant but most are very rude, we went into the sunset restaurant and the rude waitress said your all inclusive go to the buffet 😡 they only want paying people in the restaurant.
This hotel has put me off coming to Thailand again but I’m sure there are many lovely hotels to chose from.

I must admit I was a little apprehensive about staying at Graceland due to the very mixed reviews on here.
Honestly, I had no need to be worried. Graceland is a great resort. It is large, has good pools to choose from and was clean throughout. The main pool did get a little busy at times with smaller children (understandably as it is shallow at one end). We spent most of our time at the other pools as there were plenty of sun loungers available, as well as the cabanas.
Graceland is in a great location. It's about 10 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Bangla Rd. It was nice to walk out of the resort and it was still calm and we werent hassled by anyone or walking into busy streets. As its directly across the road from the beach there was a nice breeze throughout the day. There are loads of restaurants/cafes around for food. Most of our lunches though came from the food vendors set up across the road from Graceland.
One slight negative if I am being honest was that the breakfast buffet was nice and definitely plenty to choose from, but nothing out of the ordinary. Mango and pinapple is available everywhere, except at breakfast where they stuck to watermelon, jackfruit and papaya most days. As I said though, that's really only a very slight negative because there was plenty of food available.
I stayed with 3 other adults, plus 4 teenagers (15-18 y/os). They all agreed that it was a great location to stay and would 100% recommend the resort.
