We had a wonderful stay at Kalima Resort & Spa Phuket and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket. The resort is beautifully presented, with stunning views, great facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind from the moment we arrived.

A special thank you goes to our amazing housekeepers, Lek and S. Lee, who went above and beyond every day to ensure our room was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Their attention to detail and the genuine care they showed made a real difference to our stay. It was always such a pleasure returning to our room after a day out, and their kindness and hard work certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

We would also like to recognise Tony and Ping at reception. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Whether it was answering questions, offering assistance, or simply greeting us with a smile, they consistently provided exceptional service and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

It is the people who truly make a great hotel experience, and the team at Kalima certainly did that for us. Thank you all for making our holiday so memorable—we look forward to returning in the future!

Stayed for 13 days mid June 2026. We arrived around 930pm using the Hotel pick up service that we arranged with the hotel via email. Excellent service. Reception is manned 24hrs swift check in process welcome drink, lots of information about the hotel and downloaded the hotel app. We were driven to our pool suite room via an electric car. It’s a large resort!

Room was excellent- large and roomy well appointed with amenities- mini bar, coffee and tea station, bathroom amenities. Robes, slippers, flip flops , bath and beach towels, beach bag and umbrellas ! I would say the only thing that let the room down was the limited storage space for clothes. Small hanging space pans one drawer! We did get more hangers but for most of our stay we had to have one suitcase open. Not ideal. We did mention to management who offered us a larger room at a discount but we didn’t need a larger room and didn’t need to add substantially to our bill just to store clothes. We did received a clothes dryer rack which we utilised but wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. Also in the lovely bathroom there was no where to hang anything or a robe or towels a few strategically placed hooks would be ideal. For eg when you get out of the shower the only place to put your towel ready is on top of the toilet. They are folded on a rack above the toilet but when wet you want to be able to just grab safely.

That being said the room was very comfortable, we received small dessert treats in our room every evening. The room was cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff were excellent so professional and friendly . The ac worked brilliantly perhaps having a remote control would be an idea so we could adjust during the night without leaving the bed! Bed was large and comfortable and the TV well placed for watching the World Cup games at random times of the night ! The pool was excellent for cooling down in even in one of the storms as we were there in rainy season! Would have been good to have recliner chairs as at one point we couldn’t find space around the main pools so returned to ours . We had room service a couple of times and breakfast daily all of a high standard and the breakfast was really good as it had a wide range of products to suit every palate.
The staff are a credit to the resort. Every single staff member greeted us as they passed. Special shout out to the barista who remembered my coffee order everyday!

I used the spa facility for a manicure which was divine ending with a head neck and shoulder massage and some lovely jasmine tea! The Kalima is around 15 out from the centre of Khao Lak but the hotel has a free shuttle which is easily booked via the app and leaves several times and day and return. Otherwise a 300Thb taxi ride. We appreciated the ability to arrange a late check out as we had a late flight so this allowed us to enjoy our last day to its fullest extent . I mustn’t forget to rave about the fantastic cocktails! Great presentation and taste! The private beach deserves a mention also! We visited in low season so it was quiet but that suited us! An absolutely memorable stay at the Kalima!
