Jiraporn Hill Resort Patong

On arrival met by a very unpleasant receptionist. Check in was quick and easy.

Stayed here for 18 days yet management never once asked if everything was ok which for a small place and a place where most people were only staying a few days would have thought they would make an effort.

Room a reasonable size, air conditioning smelt when first put on. Had a problem with the sink and the shower on arrival and safe didn’t work. All rectified within 24 hours.

Room cleaned daily, towels changed about every 3 days, bath mat weekly.

Had to ask for a kettle for the room.

Bar non existent if requiring a drink you had to get from fridge and pay at reception.

Snacks, tea, coffee not available.

WiFi it and miss.

Breakfast changed on a daily basis but generally it was cold beans, cold egg, lukewarm tea. Not worth the cost better to go out and pay for one.

Every few days there were problems with the pool.

Pool area open from 8am till 9pm and some guests there very noisy and no respect for other guests although management didn’t seem to care.

No laundry service.

Better to have a room higher up as the pool rooms are overlooked and people tend to use them that are not staying in them rooms.

The two young reception boys Kan and Ohm were a joy and made up for all the poor things.

Would I recommend this hotel (no sorry B&B)? No I wouldn’t.

The room was very clean and very nice. High speed WiFi. Staff are more than helpful. The room are big enough equipped. The bed is king size and comfortable. Housekeeping clean room everyday. They don’t change the towel everyday, but I understand because room are cheap and save world. If you would like to change towel everyday, you can tell the staff at front desk, they can tell room maid for you. After I told them, I got new towel everyday. They are so fast response all request. It made me impress. There is supermarket and bank nearby. I got service beyond my expectation because I booked with good price.
