Outstanding Hospitality That Made Our Honeymoon Even More Special
My wife and I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Phuket for our honeymoon, and our two-night stay was nothing short of wonderful. What truly made our experience memorable was the genuine hospitality shown by the team throughout our stay.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Front Office colleague Moo, who welcomed us with a smile before escorting us to the reception at the new building. We were then attended by Duty Manager Sak and his team, and the check-in process was seamless and efficient.
What impressed us most was Sak's personal touch. He personally escorted my wife and me to our room and made us feel incredibly welcome from the very beginning. To our surprise, he spoke Malay and shared that he had previously stayed at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, which made for a lovely and memorable conversation. He was exceptionally friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel valued as guests. His warm hospitality immediately set the tone for our honeymoon stay.
We were also delighted to find a complimentary honeymoon room setup prepared for us upon arrival. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our special occasion even more meaningful, and we sincerely appreciate the team's effort.
A special thank you also goes to Bellman Deer, who was consistently helpful with our luggage and transportation throughout our stay. During our conversation, we learned that he has been serving the resort for 15 years. That level of dedication and loyalty to the hotel and the IHG brand is truly admirable and deserves recognition. His friendly attitude and willingness to help certainly enhanced our overall experience.
Our entire two-night stay was relaxing and comfortable, exactly what we hoped for during our honeymoon. We were able to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and get the rest we truly needed.
To Moo, Sak, Deer, and the entire team—thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care did not go unnoticed. You are wonderful ambassadors of Holiday Inn Resort Phuket and IHG.
