have had multiple trips and stays in phuket especially patong. this place has some positives and negatives for mine . id not stay here unless in pool access room . the pool is small and it would be a nightmare in peak season imo. in a great location at the best end of patong. close to everything. Food and beverage options are good with a decent breakfast . for mine, has a very claustrophobic feel to it . i like it but theres a BUT

Five Stars and Beyond – Another Exceptional Stay at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong My mum and I are repeat guests at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong, and somehow each stay is even better than the last. The staff consistently treat us like family and make us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrive until the moment we leave.
The very least we can do to express our gratitude and appreciation for the incredible team at this amazing hotel is to acknowledge their outstanding efforts through this review.
Reception A heartfelt thank you to Orn, Sita and Oil Your warm welcome on arrival, remembering us personally from our last visit and willingness to accommodate every request was so appreciated. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Your genuine care and attention made us feel so well looked after, particularly doing your best to accommodate a room suitable for my elderly mum – providing us with an upgraded room and the beautiful welcome gifts (bag and notebook) which we have already put to good use. Thank you also for organising our tour driver, transportation to various locations, and our airport transfer, ensuring we were looked after every step of the way. Most of all, it was your heartwarming smiles and friendly greetings each time we walked through the foyer that truly made a difference. A special thank you also to Tak, Bell Captain at Concierge. Your cheerful greeting whenever we passed by, your assistance with transportation arrangements, having an umbrella on hand on those unexpected rainy days shows your exceptional level of service and care.
Bubbles Restaurant and Club Lounge All of the staff were wonderful, but special recognition must go to Tan, Rebel, Noona, Mai, Ploy, Fon and Armad. Whether at breakfast, dinner, or enjoying refreshments in the Club Lounge, your welcoming smiles and attention to detail made every experience memorable. It was amazing that many of you remembered our coffee and drink preferences before we even had to ask. Ploy, thank you for your patience in explaining the dinner menu and offering recommendations, especially for the BBQ and Seafood Night, which we thoroughly enjoyed. And of course, a huge thank you to the best chef ever, Hannan. Every morning you remembered exactly how we liked our eggs cooked and delivered them to our table with the biggest smile. It is these thoughtful touches that made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
Ryn Spa One of the things Mum and I most look forward to every time we stay at the Grand Mercure is visiting Ryn Spa and enjoying the professional service delivered with such a personal touch. Nut and June are simply outstanding. Their facials are exceptional, their massage techniques are incredibly relaxing, and they have a wonderful ability to melt away stress, tension and aches. The spa environment is always immaculate, peaceful and welcoming, with calming music and soft lighting creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. A special thank you to the beautiful Hannah for your fantastic customer service and warm hospitality. And Nong, I continue to be amazed by your talent and creativity. I especially love the craft activities you offer. I learn something new every stay and truly appreciate the time, patience and enthusiasm you bring when teaching your skills.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Phuket. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness to the comfort. A special thanks to the manager (juli) and all the staff , who was incredibly kind, helpful, and cooperative throughout my stay. Highly recommended!
My family and I arrived in Phuket at approximately 10:30 a.m. We fully understood that our rooms would only be available after 2:30 p.m., so we were happy to wait.
While waiting, we visited the spa and enjoyed foot massages before heading out to explore the area. We were assured that we would receive a message as soon as both of our rooms were ready, and that this would be before 3:00 p.m.
At 2:30 p.m., I received a message advising that one of our rooms was ready. As we were travelling together, we decided to wait until we received confirmation that the second room was also ready so that we could all return and settle into our rooms at the same time.
By 4:00 p.m., having received no further communication, we returned to the hotel. To our surprise, we were informed that the second room was still not ready. We proceeded to inspect the first room that had supposedly been prepared, only to discover that it was damp and heavily affected by mould.
As someone who suffers from asthma, this presented a serious health concern. I immediately returned to reception to report the issue. The staff advised that the hotel was extremely busy, that very few rooms were available, and that they were unable to provide two rooms on the same floor or even in the same wing of the hotel. This was particularly disappointing as we had booked well in advance and had specifically requested adjoining or nearby rooms.
Unfortunately, our request was not accommodated, and the staff were dismissive of our concerns. Rather than acknowledging the delayed room readiness, the unacceptable condition of the room, or the failure to meet our booking requests, they appeared to avoid taking responsibility for the situation.
After considerable discussion, the hotel manager eventually came to address the matter, but only after we had documented the condition of the room and the interactions with staff. By that stage, our confidence in the hotel had been completely undermined.
As a result of this experience, we stayed only one night before checking out and moving to a newly renovated hotel in Patong Beach hotel by see2sea, where we received the level of cleanliness, professionalism, and service we had originally expected.
