DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort

I have been coming to the Banthai Resort since 2015 and met some incredible people, in particular Timmy from Timmy's pool bar. Timmy has been the deciding factor in choosing where to stay in Patong as his service and charm is second to none. I have recommended the Banthai resort to friends over the years and they have never been disappointed. Thank you Timmy for making my holiday so memorable 🙏🏻 10/10

Another amazing stay at doubletree Patong beach. We were diamond Hilton honors members and recently switched to the Accor Explore program about 18 months ago. After staying at a Patong Accor property in January 2026, we missed how amazing doubletree Patong was, so I booked to come back 3 months later, just to stay at doubletree Patong.

Why do we love it so much? It feels like you’re staying with family. All the staff are wonderful, alot of them long term employees. They go out of their way to remember everything about you, your drink orders, where you’re from, who your family are, your favourite room type. When you arrive, the staff welcome you back with hugs and big smiles. They always recognise your Hilton honors status. Their buffet breakfast has a great selection of western and middle eastern food. Multiple fresh cooking stations of all different food types. Multiple fresh juicing options. Incredible bread selections. It’s across the road from the beach. They have 3 different pools, which are always such a relaxing vibe. Two days a week, they hold an afternoon pool party in one of the pools. The other two pools remain peaceful if that’s not your vibe. In the drive way of the hotel, there’s a massage shop, hairdresser, restaurants, Watsons pharmacy, Starbucks, ATMS. A few further steps away, you have access to market shopping, night markets for amazing local foods, laundry, bars. On-site they have multiple restaurants and bars and they do all their own baking onsite. The room types are great. I’ve stayed in most of the room types. You really can’t pick a bad room here. They all face a swimming pool. The beds and linen are excellent. Some of them have freestanding bathtubs. All have showers with two different shower heads to choose from. My favourite is the one bedroom suite if we are feeling like splurging, or the poolside access rooms, with the little step down to the pool edge deck chairs directly in front of your room Since 2022 they have been renovating in sections and the rooms are stunning. The pools have been redone, with the last one commencing renovations this week. I’ve stayed multiple times during the renovations and they don’t interrupt your stay at all. I love coming to patong and always will as long as doubletree is here. Thanks to Jo, Vin, Timmy and all the housekeeping, breakfast and reception staff for another amazing stay
